A few weeks before Christmas my Fiesta had a major problem and the needed part was not immediately attainable. Mr. Scalfani provided me with a Christmas miracle! Somehow he was able to get my car repaired for the holiday! I live alone and have just the one car. It was needed for doctor's appointments and grocery shopping. He saw that I was able to take care of these errands. I've been a Ford customer for many years and Mr. Scalfani and is an example of why I stay a Ford customer. My wife made an appointment to bring in her car on a saturday to get the battery connection fixed. We knew what the problem was because I temporarily fixed it with poor tools in Tampa (I'm in school an saturday to get the battery connection fixed. We knew what the problem was because I temporarily fixed it with poor tools in Tampa (I'm in school and my wife and I are forced to be apart while I finish school because she's a physician). They were predatory on my wife in that they made her agree to the diagnostic fee or take her car elsewhere (the car was no longer working when it got there because of the loose cable and I was in class). That cost $180 (that's the minimum you pay there if you don't have a warranty). I told my wife to wait until I get out of class so I could talk to them. They did not want to fix the connection like I asked and instead wanted to charge $900+ more to swap out a battery cable that didn't need to be swapped out. I asked to speak to the tech who was the one working on the car - not allowed. Then the staff insulted me by saying "do you want me to email you the receipt or not, it's a simple question." This is the absolute worst mechanic shop I have ever dealt with. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They don't care about you or your car, they just want your money. Feel free to ask me directly about my experience, they need to be out of business. You can tell that this company's DNA does not have any integrity in it. I have also filed a BBB report against them that you are free to view as well. I hope this helps you to steer clear. We took our car to Mazzarella's after this issue and we would not have had to pay anything if Ford did not lock out the key fob. So, there are outstanding alternatives. More
