Whoever is in charge of Mullinax must read this I just received an email from Nick Swanepoel asking me to review so he can become part of a "dealer rater salesman" for Mullinax and his email claimed I just received an email from Nick Swanepoel asking me to review so he can become part of a "dealer rater salesman" for Mullinax and his email claimed that HE sold me the black 2006 Infiniti G35 coupe that I purchased a little over a year ago. This is absolutely hilarious, let me tell you the TRUTH about my experience with Nick. I initially contacted him about purchase of the vehicle, he seemed like a very busy guy but did finally return a SINGLE phone and then texted me a few additional pictures of the vehicle that I had asked for. I texted and called back probably 15 times over the next 3 days trying to get ahold of him, the telephone person was very professional and informed me that he was indeed in the building and that he was getting the messages but that he was very busy and they weren't sure why I had not received a call back. Finally I asked to be transferred to a different salesman, preferably one at the other site location where the vehicle was physically sitting. From that point on I dealt exclusively with Ben Medina. Now let me tell you something about Ben, he was an absolute PLEASURE to deal with, answered my every question, returned all my calls during the next two days while I was squaring everything up with my bank. I met him at whatever site he was working (I live in Kennewick, not sure what site is what) and the vehicle was sitting in front of the building, clean, ready to be test driven. The car passed my inspection and I purchased it immediately, every single person I dealt with that day at Mullinax was 100% professional and took great care of me and my family that day. Three days later I received a follow-up call from Ben to make sure everything was still great and to inform me they had just mailed out the gift certificate they were giving me due to the vehicle not having the factory equipped spare tire in the trunk at the time of purchase, this was the deal we struck during the purchase because I didn't want to stay the night in Olympia while they got one for me, I was in a hurry to drive the 5.5 hours back home that night. Thanks Ben, you rock, I hope you're still working at Mullinax because the world needs superhero salesmen like yourself. Now... a week AFTER I purchased the G35 I got a phone call and a text back from Nick... I ignored the phone call because my face was covered with the palm of my hand. I responded to the text informing him I had already purchased the vehicle and thanked him for texting me a week after I made a dozen attempts to contact him about the car. Now he wants to claim HE sold me the car in an email??? What the f---... I hope that Mullinax isn't seriously trying to promote this guy, to a higher position because he needs to be downgraded to washing/detailing the vehicles if he's even capable of that task. Every review I have given Mullinax Ford of Olympia until today has been a PERFECT score with a soaring review of my experience, the treatment I was given during the sale was so amazing that it made me completely ignore/forget that there was a xxxxx salesman that wouldn't even return my calls or texts at the other sales location. Today I was reminded of this and the "new car feeling" of that experience has long worn off, now I'm MAD. I'm MAD that he's trying to scalp the credit from Ben Medina's sale, I'm MAD that he never called me back, I'm MAD that I get some random email 12+ months later from him. Whoever is in charge of Mullinax needs to take a long hard look at this ONE STAR REVIEW that you're getting and figure out what the HECK is going on... I'm giving you a 1 star overall review based solely on my RECENT EMAIL from Nick Swanepoel and docking you to a 4/5 rating for customer service based on my interaction with Nick as well. EDIT: This site won't let me post the 1 star review unless I dock points elsewhere and don't use numbers, so I will be using the text FIVE in place of a numerical score and your actual score for Customer Service four/five Quality of Work five/five Friendliness five/five Price three/five Double Edit: Apparently I was also flagged for LANGUAGE... well it certainly is appropriate when dealing with Nick but I changed to the word "MAD" instead of a word similar to urinating. Also changed to the word "HECK" instead of the place bad people go in the bible.
