Rediculous. Made an appointment a week in advance at 7am for brakes that are failing. Get here and I'm told they might get to look at it today. An appointment is just to get it here. do not get your vehicle serviced here I went to Mullinax on Thursday 06/15/2018 to get the works service on my Fusion. When I got it back the A/C did not work correctly, it appears the glove compartment had been removed as the items in it were either not in it or completely rearranged they claimed they were looking for the key lock to rotate the tires. I doubt this as they could have asked me for it and second you are a ford dealership I'm sure you have the key lock as a basic tool. They also said nothing was wrong with the A/C But now when you turn it on it only comes on at the lowest setting. Upon taking it to a different shop it was discovered with me standing and watching that yes the glove compartment had been removed the vent on the passenger side was not put back completely into place the lower glove compartment bolts were missing. I then had them check out the rest of the work mullinax performed. It was discovered that the oil pan drain bolt head was rounded off. likely as a result of use of an improper tool being used such as an impact gun. Now I will have to pay to have that removed and replaced if it can be, or possibly replace the oil pan. Mullinax claims it has gotten 2 president awards for customer service. This just shows Ford motor company standards for service are not very high. More
Seem friendly but slow and not responsive. They are remodeling the dealership and this may affect there ability but the service was just slow and somewhat expensive. Given bad information Took my 2017 Ford Explorer in because the battery was not holding a charge. I was assured this was covered by the warranty when I called. When I arrived, I was told by the service dept. that there was a bad cell in the battery. They told me this was not covered under the 36,000 mile warranty and a new battery would cost $139.00. I elected to get a second opinion rather than buy the battery. Called AutoNation and got an appt. to have the car checked. They gave us verification that the battery was, indeed, covered by warranty. They also said they did not know why Mullinax would have told us it was not covered. More
Service Center We purchased our 2015 F150 truck on 12/21/2017. After detailing the truck, we left and the truck cover flew off. They did not fasten all the hooks. Upon installing larger tires discovered 1 strut was leaking. Called the service center for appt and they said it would take 2 days to determine what the problem was and then time to fix them it. So we would be without our new truck under warranty for minimum of 3 days. We called AutoNation and made an appt for 9 am and we were out by 11am. We also took the Mullinix sticker off the truck. We will never buy another automobile from them. Can get the salesman to return our calls either. More
Service Department is a JOKE!! They have had my truck for 3 and 1/2 weeks now and STILL have not solved the problem. I will NEVER do any business with this dealership ever again! 3 to 4 hours turned into 3 days I purchased a CPO Explorer, which was supposed to have a 170 point inspection. Somehow the sunroof shade was missed. I operated it before making the purchase and it had a loud clicking noise. Service dept looked at it and determined it was the motor. They had to order it, so I made the purchase and brought it back at 7:15 am on Wednesday. I was met by Wendy, a service writer. When she thought the service department had to make the repair she told me it was a half-day job, then went to a whole day, then more than a day....which is it? When she found out the used car service dept had to fix it, it went down to 3-4 hours. Again, which is it? After waiting 4 hours and no word of it being completed, I went and asked Wendy. She didn't know anything. I contacted my salesman Derek Montalvo. He looked into it and found out that it was not the motor, but a bearing. At this point the entire overhead was down, so Derek went back to the Service dept to get me a loaner car so I could leave my Explorer there. I finally got a new Escape as a loaner at 1:30 pm, over 6 hours after I arrived there. I left with the promise it would be done on Thursday. It wasn't. They received the part in at 2 pm, and even though it was a 3-4 hour job, which made me think that having it half way done before the part arrived it would only take 2 hours to put back together, it didn't get done by the COB on Thursday. As a matter of fact it was not ready until 4 pm on Friday. I was told it was ready at 3 pm, but it wasn't. They sent it through to get cleaned. They didn't get the roof or the sunroof glass. I hope this is not a typical service dept experience at Mullinax. I do know one thing, during my 6 hours in the Service Dept waiting room, they sold a lot of windshield wipers. Almost every person that was sitting in there was told their windshield wipers needed to be replaced...$30.95 was quoted to every one of them, which really is a decent price. As a final thought; I drove 650 miles home from Mobile, AL to St. James City, FL, and I love, love...love this Explorer. What a great SUV. More
My insurance sent me to Coastal's body shop to get my back bumper fixed, turned out great. Nice people, too. Got an email coupon for getting my oil changed, ended up getting new front brakes and tires, g back bumper fixed, turned out great. Nice people, too.
