We had specifically asked for Jim Crampton when we arrived at the dealership because of my son's recommendation after his having worked with Jim recently. And by the way, my son didn't buy a car. F arrived at the dealership because of my son's recommendation after his having worked with Jim recently. And by the way, my son didn't buy a car. From start to finish, from looking and pricing, to test driving, to negotiating price and value of trade-in, to finalizing the paperwork with Terence, the entire experience was nothing short of pleasant. It was completely lacking in any sort of pressure, and all three Mullinax representatives seemed to keep going out of their way to be helpful and supportive. For that matter, the entire sales staff kept trying to be helpful any time my wife and I were left alone. They all came across as a caring bunch, unusual in today's what's-in-it-for-me society. When we decided on the hybrid car and delivered a deposit, the dealership ordered the car from an affiliated dealership and expected the car to arrive early the following week. When we stopped by the dealership two days later to ask a question, the car was there and in process of preparation and new car set-up. Jim was waiting until it was finished before calling to tell us it was there. I have had other experiences with a Mercedes dealer in Atlanta that were as pleasant, but that dealership and this one rank as the most pleasant car buying experiences I've had in my nearly 50 years of buying new cars. Thanks guys, thanks Mullinax organization. Strokes to all of you. More
I've purchased my last 3 vehicles at Mullinax and I haven't had any issues. I haven't met one sales rep that wasn't friendly and helpful. I would recommend Mullinax for a hassle free experience. haven't had any issues. I haven't met one sales rep that wasn't friendly and helpful. I would recommend Mullinax for a hassle free experience. Very easy purchase. I wasn't hassled. They gave me space to look around. Sales guy knew a lot about the car I was looking at. Told them I would think about it. They never tried to track me down. My wife and I had the best vehicle buying experience with Mullinax Ford. Great price, no back and forth "talking" with managers, Brandon Dana was very knowledgable about the Edge and made our experience the Mullinax Ford. Great price, no back and forth "talking" with managers, Brandon Dana was very knowledgable about the Edge and made our experience the best we have had when buying a new vehicle. There wasnt any pressure tactics and we never felt uncomfortable throughout the whole process. We would definitely recommend Mullinax to anyone shopping for a new vehicle and recommend them to see Brandon Dana. More
This was my second vehicle from this ford dealership. The first one was a 2011 Escape the dealership at that time was Coastal Ford and I will say my experience this time was great, last one not so much. The first one was a 2011 Escape the dealership at that time was Coastal Ford and I will say my experience this time was great, last one not so much. After deciding to upgrade I went to Mullinax. Met with James Hankins explained what I was looking for and he was great. Got the vehicle I wanted and everything went well. James was great, he spent about two hours going over every aspect of the vehicle and made sure i understood how everything worked. I would recommend Mullinax Ford to anyone looking for a great deal and very knowledgeable personal. More
After about two weeks of going back and forth with some local dealers I found the Mullinax website and began looking at their online inventory. I had narrowed down some vehicles with a local dealer who was local dealers I found the Mullinax website and began looking at their online inventory. I had narrowed down some vehicles with a local dealer who was actually going to get the vehicle from Mullinax, charging me for the pick-up and delivery. While this was not a deal-killer, a sudden lack of communication was. The sales person simply didn't follow up on contacting me after he said he would do so. I decided to contact the Internet sales person at Mullinax, Brandon Thomas, and made an appointment to drive 65 miles to meet with him and see if we could do business. I arrived about 15 minutes ahead of our appointment time, and Brandon was not there; I was told it was his day off. Another sales person asked if someone else could help me, and I was perturbed, that, after driving an hour from another state for a set appointment the sales person was not holding up his end of the agreement. I told the other sales person that if Brandon could not meet this obligation, I had serious concerns the dealership could earn my business. The sales person asked me to stay to see if they could call Brandon to see what happened; about this time someone said Brandon had just driven up. Brandon was sharp, professional, and easy-going. He asked if I would like to drive the vehicles I was looking at and I agreed. We took the higher-priced vehicle out for a ride, and when we got back I asked for him to work up a proposal. This took maybe 15 minutes, while the used car manager appraised my trade-in (which I could have sold outright if the trade was low-balled). After running the proposal by his managers, Brandon came to me with what I thought was a very fair price, having extensively researched the vehicles on Carsdirect.com, Edmunds.com, and KBB.com. The trade offer was an exceptional surprise, as I already had a Mannheim report that showed the Mullinax offer was on the high-end of recent sales. I accepted a lease offer, was sent to the finance manger for paperwork, and was greeted with, "We made a mistake on your payment." This is the last thing any car buyer wants to hear. The "mistake" was that a rebate had not been factored in when the original proposal was drawn up. The new figure was almost $150/month less than the original payment price! After the paperwork was done I waited while the vehicle was prepped for delivery; this took longer than the deal itself. My new vehicle was washed and cleaned and the gas tank was filled up. The entire process took about three and one-half hours, when I had been going back and forth with other dealers for days. This was one of the easiest car buying experiences I ever had. Not only was it relatively painless, the price was right and there never was any pressure to do anything. I highly recommend this dealership for straight-forward pricing and fair treatment. More

Mullinax has up front pricing which is already in line with the price you spend hours haggling to at other dealerships. While other dealers do offer up front online pricing, Mullinax has no dealer fees. They gave me an acceptable price for my trade, but coupled with the lack of dealer fees, Mullinax will get you out the door for the lowest final price. And that is the ultimate goal. This dealership is highly recommended. Brian was pleasant to deal with. There was no pressure and everything went smoothly. I visited other dealerships prior to coming to Mullinax, only to be double-teamed by salesmen who negate each other's offers at World Ford Pensacola and given the run around. I'm glad I drove the hour and a half to Mullinax. More
