Mullinax Ford has a very relaxed atmosphere when you arrive. You are not pressured into anything and with the prices on the windows it makes the experience less of a challenge. I had second thoughts on trading in a 2007 Expedition for another vehicle (used or new). Fuel prices was not the factor, it was some other personal reason. Yes, something was telling me to let go of the expedtion and wait for in the future I would be able to obtain the vehicle I was really looking for. I noticed the 2012 Focus SFE and decided to go with this unit until I am able to seek one as the prior unit or similar. Mr. Mitchem understood that I did not want to be shown a vehicle, but just find one and agree to it. The rest is history. More

Upon arrival at the dealership I did not feel "ambushed" like I have at others in the past. We walked in and Adrian was waiting and polite when we first net him. This shows exceptional team work. Scott went threw everything in a reasonable time frame and helped set up the sync accout and vehicle connection before I left the dealership. More
Ironically, I purchased a vehicle from Mullinax Apopka a few years ago, I still have it, I love it. I enjoyed my experience with the service department, too. You can't beat the up front pricing; it is truly the best and I shopped ALL the other local dealers. The problem is in the trade-in. Prepare to be abused if you have a trade in. After my experience, I looked for a contact link so I could e-mail Mr. Mullinax a question. There is no way to contact him off the dealer site. I wanted to ask why Mullinax Ford advertises on Autotrader.com (which has links to Kelly Blue Book and NADA Guide for trade in values) but instead of using these sources, I was told they have some link to the local auto action houses and this where they derive their trade in values. My vehicle was appraised on site. We agreed on the options, mileage and condition of the vehicle (no I am not some crazy consumer thinking my trade in is a museum piece). bottom line, the trade in value quoted was AT LEAST $ 3500 to $ 4000 less than KBB or the NADA guide. I also see what they have on the lot. It is clean and highly optioned with everything working. My trade wouldn't have gone to auction, it would have gone on the lot for resale. Despite having purchased a car from Mullinax Ford in Apopka before, I am so turned off that I never will again. Saving what appears to be $ 3000 with "Up Front Pricing" is nothing but a bait and switch game if they take advantage of you for the same amount on your trade. BEWARE! More
