We went with this dealership because the staff was friendly and the price on the vehicle was very good. I rated the customer service, quality of work, and the overall experience as poor for the following reasons. My wife and I were not called back when they said we would be. If you say you will call back first thing tomorrow morning and we haven't received a call back by the time I'm done with work and stop by, that isn't first thing in the morning. The car had a mirror that would fall off, they said they would fix it. The guy looked at it, said there was a broken piece but he thought it would be ok. He left wires sticking out and told my wife that her husband could push them back in for her. About a week later the mirror fell down again, so now we have to schedule another appointment to get something fixed that should have been fixed the first time. When we were buying the car I was promised that they would only run one credit check, 4 inquiries showed up on my report and will have a negative impact on my credit report for 2 years. The car was listed as having a warranty since it was previously a certified preowned from an Audi dealer, we were told that it would transfer to us. We asked again a day later when we test drove the car and they said it stayed with the car. Then after we bought the car they said we just needed to fill out a form and there might be a fee. My wife went to fill out the form while I was at work. The form stated that the warranty was only transferable for a fee of $150 and only if it was a private sale with no dealer involvement. My wife was told that she needed to make a bill of sale saying it was a private sale (false bill of sale) and fill out the form saying it was a private sale and the dealership said they would notarize it. When my wife told me what they were trying to do I said we wouldn't do it, so we ended up paying $600 for an aftermarket warranty. Being military and on a temporary duty status we needed to register it in a different state. They sent the title off without giving us a chance to sign it, so we had to get it mailed back to us to sign to then mail off to the DMV again. More

The great attitude extends pass the sales department to every individual who is working in the establishment. 3. They have a can do attitude for people who do not necessarily have stellar credit. Mr. Harper has extensive relationships with several companies who want you to drive off with a new car. 4. They know CARS and will share information on why their cars are the best not just because it is on their floor but because of gas mileage, drive, and getting the bang for your buck. 5. And most importantly, I am difficult to impress. I have had several bad experiences with buying cars which makes me very leery but I needed a car and felt like there was no hope. Well, I met an outstanding team who is growing. They even have a cow bell to ring in the middle of the showroom when you purchase to demonstrate your pleasure. In May 2012, we purchased a 2008 CTS from Saadiq Shakur with an extended warranty. We were very pleased with the entire purchase process. The service department said they could find nothing wrong with the light. The light continued to deteriorate over the next few months. We contacted the service department again, and they told us that the light was not covered on the policy we purchased. The service department told us it was our problem to fix. We were very disappointed because we had recommended the dealership to friends. After calling Saadiq, he and Daniel Poage were very helpful in solving our problem. Before purchasing another vehicle, we will contact Saadiq. We are once again very satisfied with the outcome of this problem. More
Alison Taylor was very helpful and friendly. She went over and beyond to assist me in finding the right Cadiallic. I met Alison on my fourth encounter in trying to get a Cadillac at Classic. The first time I visited, I met salesperson, Jimmy Holloway, who was very unprofessional. The first visit, he promised me he would call me in a couple of hours, which he did not. The second encounter with Mr. Holloway was when I called him a week late inquiring why he did not call me as promised before I wanted a Cadillac. Mr. Holloway informed me that it was the end of the month and he was busy. My third encourtner was when I came back to Classic Cadiallac after I visited other Dealerships in Montgomery ( I wanted a Cadillac bad and I was willing to give Classic another try before venturing out to areas outside Montgomery). So me and a friend visited Classic again and we noticed that Mr. Holloway was sitting on a bench observing us without offering his assistance. Finally, we asked: "are you gonna help us?" Then he recognized me and proceed to talk to us. Mr. Holloway had very limited information about the CTS we were interested in. When we tested rode it, we had to ask him to give us knowledge on the CTS, which he did not do a good job. Then when we came back to the Dealership after the test drive, Mr. Holloway told us it was too hot for him to walk the parking lot with us, and he refused to negogiate a deal on the CTS we drove. The CTS had a lot of stratches on it and I was willing to buy it at a agreed upon buy. Therefore, we left with a bitter taste in our mouth as how we were treated by Mr. Holloway. Then I met Alison Taylor over the Internet and she went out of her way to assist me, especially after she found out how we were treated. Due to the greatness and friendliness of Mrs. Taylor, I brought a 2013 ATS Cadiallac and I am very please. More

We were greeted outside the business after we were given the salesman's personal cell number. He met us with a huge smile and walked us in. I can't say enough good things about my car buying experience at Classic Cadillac, Buick and GMC of Montgomery, Alabama. We live in Atlanta and found the perfect car on Autotrader.com I had been looking online for a few weeks so when I saw this vehicle - 2012 Buick Enclave - that had all the features that my family wanted and the color combination that I liked best. (3rd row seating, sunroof, DVD, captain chairs, back up camera, tan leather and beautiful pearl white exterior color) I called Classic to find out if the car was still there and to make sure it had all the options stated in the ad. Larry Hudson, in sales, took my call and was fantastic about answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable buying a car out of state. He told me that car had just come in so he wanted to go and physically look at the vehicle to let me know all the details before driving to the dealership. Larry told me every detail on the car letting me know the car was in perfect condition except for a small scuff on the rear bumper. I then told him I had a 2006 Cadillac SRX to trade and wanted to see if they would give me the same amount that Carmax said they would give me. Larry connected me with the used car manager, Daniel about appraising my car. I told Daniel we really wanted to buy the Enclave but didn't want to drive 160 miles if they couldn't give me at least the same amount on my car that Carmax said they would. He was a bit hesitant to commit to the same amount without actually seeing the car but after sending him photos he agreed take my car for the $8000 that they had offered. I then asked Larry if he could tell me the exact drive out price and what else would I need to bring besides my checkbook. He gave me the total and broke out everything for me. He said all I would need would be my license, insurance card, title to car and checkbook. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive to get to the dealership but everything was perfect - just as they told me on the phone. From the moment we walked in I felt at ease. Larry was very kind and calm. He offered my husband, young son and I bottled water and told us the car was being detailed. He said we could go ahead and look at it now and get started on doing paperwork or wait until it was all cleaned. We were so excited to see it and were impressed even more so in person - this car was like new - less than 5000 miles, 3 year warranty and 1000s less than a new vehicle. It had seriously been only driven around the neighborhood by a little 80 year old lady. There was no high pressure or unexpected charges. When went into the finance office to finalize everything with Tony Meads the finance manager - he was very personable and relaxed even though we were there right at closing time. Afterwards Larry walked us out to the car which he had just filled up with gas. He went through all the vehicle features and got the DVD player working for my son to watch a movie on the trip back to Atlanta. The dealership only had one key and fob to give us and my husband asked if they would mind checking with the previous owner to see if she could find the second set. Larry said he would follow up with her. And he did. He called the next to day to see how we liked the car. He said since she didn't have the second set of keys we will just cut you another set and send to you at no extra cost. They went above and beyond our customer service expectations! Our sales rep Mr. David Price was awesome and we didn't have to hag great customer service experience, and I found it at Classic Buick GMC Cadillac. Our sales rep Mr. David Price was awesome and we didn't have to haggle about price, because it was already priced well below market value. The finance director Andrew Harper took the time to explain exactly what we were paying for, and never tried to pressure us into going through them for our financing needs. Once I told him that our financing was in place, he still went above and beyond. The most important part of the process for me was that the General Manager Monte Burney came in and talked to us about his goals and how he does business. I can't tell you how many times he thanked us for our business. Classic will definitely be my first choice when it's time to buy a new vehicle , and I will be telling all of my family and friends to go and check them out. More

I was in Montgomery on business, and I stopped into Classic GMC to see what they had to offer. I was greeted very warmly by Alison Taylor, and she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Because of her attentiveness during our discussions about the Acadia Denali and her determination to make me a satisfied customer, I knew Alison had our business. She was not pushy, and she listened and very patiently answered all of my questions. The following day, my husband and stepson drove 2 hours from Tuscaloosa to meet me in Montgomery and we became the proud owners of our new 2013 Acadia Denali! Besides our great sales experience with Alison, Andrew Harper was also very helpful in educating us on financing options and on covering all of the warranty and extended warranty information. Additionally, Nick Elijah was truly wonderful going over and over (I am sometimes a slow learner) and explaining all the many features that our Acadia Denali has in store for us! Nick was the hero to my nine-year-old stepson by taking time to make sure his iPod was correctly synched and ready to go as soon as we drove off the lot! This dealership definitely delivered - not only the new vehicle that we wanted, but also, they went above and beyond in their customer service to us. Before, during, and after the sale, they have been attentive and available to answer any and all of our questions or concerns.
