Salesman and finance guy lied about the car year and price of warranty to agree on the car. Salesman went into the finance office right after I agreed on the financial part and said I couldn't get the special APR promotion after all because the car I bought wasn't the 2018 and it was actually 2019, even though I confirmed with him the year of the car 2-3x during negotiation. Then the finance guy said my monthly would only go up by a few dollars ($7) if I get the extended warranty. What he didn't tell me when he showed me the monthly price difference on his calculator was that the monthly price (of the car alone) he was adding the warranty to was already higher than what I should've been paying, making it seem like the price jump wasn't as high as it was. It turns out the extended warranty was about $1,280 higher than what he had implied after I got home and did the math closer. On top of that, when I canceled and demanded a refund for the extended warranty a week later, it took him over 2 months to actually send the paperwork to the warranty company. It turns out he never even faxed it over during this time and I had to call him several times over a few days because he wasn't answering my messages. He finally called me and tried to say it was someone else's fault for not faxing it. More
