I took my 2008 Ford Ranger to the Service Dept. when I moved up to Cambria. I just wanted a skilled professional to go over my truck. Richard, the Service Manager, took over and did a fabulous job on the moved up to Cambria. I just wanted a skilled professional to go over my truck. Richard, the Service Manager, took over and did a fabulous job on the truck. Some time later I came in was because the light was on the Air Bag and I understood there was a problem that they had to fix. Richard said he would take care of it. They called me back over 2 hours later to pick up. They had done NOTHING but check the air bag. I told Richard about several new issues, and that I have criminals who are tearing up my truck in every possible way. They have made an actual cut in the body on the left side, they have taken out many plastic screws from the bed of the truck, they have bashed in the body in several places, they have bent parts of the body in several places, they have stolen my entire keychain of keys when I accidentally left keys in truck at a gas station while I paid for gas in SLO -- Oddly Richard has not noticed any of this when called to his attention. I believe he is allowing access to my truck when I take it in now. I will NEVER return to Mullahey. I had told all my friends how fabulous this dealer was -- that has changed drastically. The owner should assess his employees and their activities for quality and HONESTY. I would never go back. More
DON'T TRUST THEM!! One star is to many. This was the worst experience I have ever had purchasing anything. I bought a used 2017 F150 on Memorial Day weekend 2020. I ha One star is to many. This was the worst experience I have ever had purchasing anything. I bought a used 2017 F150 on Memorial Day weekend 2020. I had the vehicle for a month and a half, until July 9 2020. They called me and said that Capital One could not finance me. This is after having to go back and sign 3, yes THREE, new contracts. And numerous trips to get them more information. I was told by Greg the Sales manager that Capital One could not verify employment, then I was told by Adrian, the finance manager, Capital One could not verify income, then I was told that I lied on the credit application about my income by some guy named Dee, I have no idea what he does, but its even less than Adrian or Greg. After a month and a half of owning the vehicle Adrian called and said the financing fell through and I had to return the truck. During this time they kept sending out credit inquiries drive my credit score down quite a bit. I, for obvious reasons was pretty pissed off at this situation, and I let all three of these guys know that. They called me at 11 am, and at 5 pm, 6 hours later they sent a repo truck to take my vehicle that I had invested about $1500 in improvements. During the repo, the driver actually hit me with his truck, while backing up. I told him he hit me in the leg, but continued to drive away. The Sheriff had to get involved at this point. Now Adrian, Greg and Dee want me to pay $450 for the repo, about $600 for repairs to the truck, in which they wont provide proof of damage, or the money I spent on improvements.( lift kit and side rails, steps) The Sheriff Dept. took photos of the truck, showing NO DAMAGE to the vehicle. They also are charging me for mileage for the time I had the truck. And to this point Mullahey Ford still hasn't returned my $5000 down payment, or refunded the $360 I had to spent to get a second key. They only gave me 1 key. What really gets me upset is that they are treating me like a deadbeat and a criminal. Three weeks after all this, I went out and bought a new car, and I was financed by Capital One, the same company that Adrian the finance manger, Greg the sales manager and the third knucklehead, Dee, all said couldn't or wouldn't finance me. At the second dealer, I sign twice as many forms that Mullahey had me sign. This makes me think this was a scam of some sort. This entire situation cost them a sale, and my wife was gonna trade her 2015 F150 in for a new 2021 F150. My next step is to file a compliant with DMV, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I hope this helps someone else from being, what I feel, is some type of scam. More

My phone This is the third time I’ve purchased a new car at Mullahey Ford. They make it very easy for me. Everyone at Mullahey is so nice and helpful! My phone gets connected to my car before I leave because my salesperson makes sure of it. They also show me all the new and updated technology that Ford has added. If your car doesn’t have keyless entry you’re missing out! Thanks again to Mullahey Ford and especially Eric for the help. More

Poor Customer Service I purchased a Ford Explore Platinum. The buying experience was ok. The dealer prep of the vehicle before the vehicle was released to me was awful. The I purchased a Ford Explore Platinum. The buying experience was ok. The dealer prep of the vehicle before the vehicle was released to me was awful. The Explorer was handed over to my wife and I dirty, but according to the salesman the vehicle was detailed. For the first service, I took the car to Mullahey Ford and the service rep was energetic, very friendly, and helpful. The first service was free (although I believe nothing was done). I picked up the vehicle from it's first service and it was dirtier than when I dropped it off. I do expect a $50K plus vehicle to be washed by the dealer after the first service at a minimum. When picking up the vehicle, a different customer service rep was there and very unfriendly. He brought the Explorer out and walked away without saying a word. One of the cashiers is just a grumpy, unpleasant, unfriendly woman. After the initial purchase, my wife and I noticed some paint problems and the fuel door was misaligned. I must say the body shop did an amazing job with the paint repair and repairing the fuel door. Unfortunately the bottom line is that I will not purchase my next vehicle from Mullahey Ford. I will not bring my Explorer back to them for service, as I no longer trust them. Also, I do not recommend them. More

Scam! Rip off! Never purchase a car from Mullahey, but if you already have, NEVER purchase their warranty coverages. They sell you on the idea that you are protectin Never purchase a car from Mullahey, but if you already have, NEVER purchase their warranty coverages. They sell you on the idea that you are protecting your investment, saying that "It's easier to list what is not covered than what IS covered". They're good salespeople, but they don't deal with good morals at all. Every time I go in to have my car looked at, and I have the BEST coverage plan possible that they offer, NOTHING has been covered on it in the four years that I have owned and gotten my car maintenanced from them. Too many *asterisks* in the warranty, fine print, etc, and they can never seem to "find" my warranty when I go. I literally have to CONVINCE them, by going back and forth between the financial office and the service desk, that I am COVERED. What a waste of money, on the warranty AND the jacked-up price on my car. Just want to warn as many people as possible! Stay away! More
