RJM, thank you for your feedback. We understand how frustrating that situation must have been, especially being so close to completing your purchase. In this case, the vehicle was placed on a manufacturer delivery hold due to an active recall that was identified during the final steps of the transaction. Unfortunately, until a remedy is available and completed, we are legally unable to deliver the vehicle—regardless of where the deal stands. This was not a matter of unwillingness to help, but rather a requirement we must follow for safety and compliance reasons. We would have preferred to complete the transaction just as much as you did, but delivering a vehicle under an active recall hold is not something we are permitted to do. We do apologize for the inconvenience and would have been happy to continue working with you on an alternative option at that time. — Mountain View Ford
