I understand the dealer will be a bit more expensive than going anywhere else but I paid for a diagnostic and got no results. By far worst dealership around sold me a lemon , having problems and took it in for work all scratched and grease everywhere’s . I would never recommend anyone to buy their ever . We had a battery replaced then had issues with the electrical system shortly after. Noticed it upon pick up that the seat memory wasnt working. Called and asked if that could be due to the new batter electrical system shortly after. Noticed it upon pick up that the seat memory wasnt working. Called and asked if that could be due to the new battery and was told they’d have to test. Because it was clearly associated with the work done I was told to bring it in and they’d run a diagnostic test on the system at no cost. I said it was difficult to find time to bring it in but noticed there was an oil change due. They said that would be fine to bring it in when I could. During the time from then until when I brought it in for an oil change the seat memory started working. I still wanted them to run the diagnostic test to see if any error codes to tell us if it was related to the battery or something else. When my wife dropped off the van they tried charging her for the diagnostic test!! I’m not sure what changed but it was no longer what we were told initially and it seems to be working momentarily so we didn’t do it. I’m disappointed because clearly Chrysler’s fall apart after the 36 month mark and that’s why no one wants to be responsible for it if there is in fact a short or electrical issue related to replacing the battery. After researching more there seems to be a whole host of problems I could be in store for after that period of time along with some very costly ones. I can’t say that I’ll buy another Chrysler ever again after going through this. I feel they should have honored it for free as they would have if I had the time to bring it in as soon as I noticed the issue. I’m certain they wouldn’t have even tried charging for it then. It’s disappointing and goes to show that even service beyond the 36 month mark won’t be something you want to deal with on a Chrysler. More
