They agreed to do warrenee work and did not want to wait to get paid from the warney company, so I had to pay for the repairs. Even though I had a war after market warranty to get my truck back. After having an oil change, following that I had an oil leak and a hard start. Note. My car had zero issues prior. Taking back my car to service I was charged a diagnostic fee of $180. Back track a bit upo leak and a hard start. Note. My car had zero issues prior. Taking back my car to service I was charged a diagnostic fee of $180. Back track a bit upon arrival the service advisor said it was the oil cooler( he must have been psychic) all the tech did was lift the engine cover and looked??and his conclusion was the oil cooler is leaking.. now a proper diagnosis on the oil cooler would be a total removal of the intake plenum. The oil level has not changed (been checking the oil daily). It has at the proper level since. Now my take on this is that the service dept intentionally poured oil into the valley where the oil cooler is located. Leading to the oil leak dawn. After all of this I’ve been receiving calls and emails to trade in, and if i were to do the service there it’s $1200. Don’t know is if this a tactic to persuade a customer to do a trade In. ?? More
