Knowing I would need to trade my care in soon was inevitable. However, because I do not like car payments i almost waited until i had no choice. My car let me down once again - stranded. Between working, wrestling practice, Christmas shopping, etc i thought i'd better make some phone calls to see what my options were. This is where the fun began. Other car dealerships/sales people couldnt/didnt want to speak the busy mom language. All i wanted to know was could you help me get a car within my budget. Once I told them what my budget was, they told me "no" or they told me that i would need a lot of money, probably a co-signer, blah blah, blah. They made me feel like they didnt want me to succeed. They didnt want to try. either way, I moved on. They wanted to talk about irrelevant stuff that i didnt have time for. After a few failed attempts, i remembered an experience i had in the past with Ladd Handford a year ago when i did not buy a car but went through all the motions. So i said im going back to them. I found Bill Erhgood. He listened to me, took me seriously!!! told me to go straight to financing. It was like Wham Bam DONE!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! The difference was: He Listened to me! Based on what i told him, I think he mentally got the picture. he did not give me more to worry about before he knew what i needed to worry about. I think that boils down to respect. Respect for the customer/person. I may be the typical struggling mom, but I was treated like a princess!!!!! Thanks Bill. Merry Christmas to me - that's how my son put it! Ladd-Hanford gave me the lowest overall price on my new 2012 Jeep Patriot. They were straightforward and did not play games. Everyone was great. It was a very good experience from start to finish. I feel like I got a fair trade for my truck and they worked with me on the price of my new truck. I went in to just look and get some prices. When I got there Alan came out and was very respectful and personable. We test drove a Jeep Compass. I was not satisfied with the way it drove. He was not pushy about anything which I really liked. I called him and told him I decided to wait because of medical reasons. He said when I was ready to please call him. I thought that was great. My husband and I talk about a kia I had seen at the kia dealer. I went in to ask for Alan. It was very nice that I could deal with Alan even though he was at the other dealership. He was very helpful and we ended up buying the kai sportage from him. I would recomend him to any of my friends. More

James was very helpful with me in the overall sale of the car. It made it easier because he had a similar car himself. I came from Camp Hill a few months ago to look at used cars, Mazda's, and KIA's, because I knew James Green and knew I could trust him. I switched from used cars to new and ended up buying two KIA Souls, cars, Mazda's, and KIA's, because I knew James Green and knew I could trust him. I switched from used cars to new and ended up buying two KIA Souls, one for my daughter and one for myself! Everyone at the dealer was great from the owner on down. James was very helpful and when we looked at the idea of buying two cars, James and the dealer did their best to work with us and our spending limits. It took a lot of "finagling" to figure out how to meet our unique set of circumstances, but James and Ladd Hanford made it work. There was no pressure or push to try to buy something we didn't want or to buy something in a rush. Neither James nor anyone else exhibited those negative behaviors some salesman have like hovering, being anxious, or being pushy. (All are things I have experienced at the majority of dealerships I have visited and I can't stand it!) If you dread that experience too, rest assured you will not get it at Ladd Hanford with James Green! James was professional friendly, knowledgable, and helped us get the best deal possible. He listened to us and worked with what we wanted. I have no "ax to grind", I am not related to anyone at Ladd Hanford, nor am I doing anyone a favor. This review was not done at the dealership, but rather 2 months later on my own. I just like to see credit go where it is due. I will be returning to see James Green and Ladd Hanford when I need another car. I would highly recommend both! More
