My recent experience at Ladd-Hanford was fantastic. I purchased a 2012 Chrysler 200 and it was my fourth new car since 2006. Ladd-Hanford is now the third dealership that I have purchased a car from. I purchased a 2012 Chrysler 200 and it was my fourth new car since 2006. Ladd-Hanford is now the third dealership that I have purchased a car from. I live about 40 minutes from this dealership, and I normally wouldn't travel that far for many things, but I knew a little bit about my two local Chrysler dealerships so I though I would give them a try. I'm glad I did. What you can expect when you walk into Ladd-Hanford is a friendly welcome and a much lower pressure environment than you may be used to with car dealerships (it was for me anyway). I'm not the type to walk in and buy a car the same day, so I actually visited three times before it was all said and done. I took notice to the fact that whenever I was with Jimmy or Carter, I was their focus (in a good way) rather than their email inbox or cell phone. What also surprised me was that the manager, Gary, always made it a point to say hello when he knew I was there. In my previous dealership experiences, the manager was always a guy tucked back in a big office in the corner that I wasn't allowed to go near. Most importantly, though, is "the numbers." I knew where I wanted to be monthly. I think we all usually do. I can't tell you how many times I have sat at a salesman's desk, given them my ideal payment amount, and without them even asking what features were truly important to me they come back with a payment 50, 70, even 100 dollars over what I told them for a car I wasn't even interested in. In the case of my 200, I did my homework and knew what I wanted in the car. They actually listened and made an incredibly reasonable offer without us "playing ping pong" with the price. Needless to say, if you're still reading this, I was truly impressed with the friendliness and professionalism Ladd-Hanford showed me. Since I love my car so much, I don't know how soon I'll be a customer of the sales department again, but I will certainly be recommending Ladd-Hanford to my family and friends. More
