My husband and I were in an accident and our car was totaled a few days prior to our visit with Ladd. We were not in the mood to shop for a vehicle. Our Equinox was paid off for several years and we did not want a car payment. We showed up at the dealership at 7:55pm. The shop closed at 8pm. Scott Keath walked up to our vehicle and asked if he can help us. We said we did not want to hold him up if you soon close. Scott assured us we were not holding him up. He was very informative. We told him we will be back to test drive the mazda cx5 in the morning. We did come back in the morning. We did feel better the next day. Scott was very understanding of our situation. After a test drive we said we needed to go discuss our options and get something to eat. Scott suggested we take the Mazda to get something to eat. That did make us feel good. My husband and I were looking for a vehicle seating 7 with a roof rack. We test drove vehicles from several different dealerships in the area which met our criteria (Ford, Kia, Niessen, Honda etc). When we stopped at Ladd Hanford Bill Ehrgood showed us the Town and Country and the Dodge Grand Caravan. Bill was very friendly and knowledgeable and we test drove the Town and Country after Bill explained all of its ammenities. After discussing our options, my husband and I decided to go with the Town and Country. I called Bill and made an appointment to come in and test drive again and this confirmed our decision. After driving this car for the last week, I am completely satisfied with our decision. Our grandchildren also love the Town and Country mainly because it has the DVD! On Friday, via the PA turnpike ($42.00 in tolls - can you belive that!), I drove to New Kensington to meet my daughter and Owen and Anna watched videos all the way out and back. Over all the whole buying experience with all the staff I dealt with at Ladd Hanford was great. THE Dodge Journey I chose appears to be a nice car. Hopefully it will give us many years of enjoyment. I would recommend my SALESMAN and Ladd Hanford to anybody who might be looking for a new car. More
I have given Bill Wentzel all 5's because of his great personality and excellent salesmanship. He had a lot of knowledge of the vehicles on the lot and worked very hard to see that we got exactly wh great personality and excellent salesmanship. My interaction with Ladd Hanford's GM (Gary Deibert) was also very pleasant and comfortable. At no point did I feel pressured or rushed. The dealership as a whole has a very nice selection and were more than willing to take some time to search for the exact vehicle/options that I wanted. I could not have asked for more. When searching the Internet for a quote I talked to a lot of salesmen, but Nicholas Sallade was by far the nicest and most helpful.
