I live a few states away and saw the car I wanted online at Mountain View. I was hesitant to buy a car online, but the car was CPO, with a clean CarFax, and the dealership was well reviewed. The communication via text messages was quick and efficient. He answered all my questions, sent me videos of the inside, outside, and the engine. He walked me through the process, and even picked me up at the airport when I flew down to get the car. The car was great on the 10 hour drive home. Daniel, Andrew, and the rest of the staff provided one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Great team, highly recommend. More

The sales representative that assisted us, Brandon Tatham, was excellent. He listened to what we were wanting in a vehicle, heard our max price, and stuck to our budget. He was low-key, but thorough. 06/03/2024 Sale and delivery of new Hyundai with a known possible problem 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy VIN: 5NMP54GL7RH047840 05/31/2024 Approximately 1300 Hrs. Purchased Vehicle from MTN. known possible problem 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy VIN: 5NMP54GL7RH047840 05/31/2024 Approximately 1300 Hrs. Purchased Vehicle from MTN.VIEW Hyundai, Ringold, GA 05/31/2024 Approximately 1400 Hrs. Drove vehicle home, discovered that Data/Charge ports in center console did not work. Called Ryan (my salesman) and told him of the problem. He explained that I needed to make a service appointment and bring the vehicle in. I contacted Service and made an appointment for Monday 06/03/2024, 0800 Hrs. (the first available opening) 06/03/2024 0800 Hr. took vehicle to Service Dept at MTN. VIEW HYUNDAI. Service looked at the vehicle and determined that the vehicle had a bad wiring harness (P/N 2024060300061). They then told me that the part was on backorder at Hyundai and that they expected the backorder to be filled at Hyundai in 2-3 weeks, and then it would probably be another 3-4 weeks before Dealers would get them. Service said that they then would need my car for 3-4 days to install the harness. I was also told by two MTN. VIEW employees that they had been told by Hyundai of this possible problem. When I ask that if they were aware of possible problems like this why were these items not checked on PDI (pre delivery inspection). They explained that a computer was attached to the vehicle for the PDI, and it did not show any problems. One employee stated that checking the Data Ports was not part of the PDI, that was the responsibility of the manufacturer. My big problem with this scenario is this: In October 2022 I purchased a new 2023 Hyundai Palisade and had a trailer hitch installed, however I was told that the wiring harness for Palisade had been recalled and that the new harness was on back order but would be available by the end of November 2022. As of this date it is still not available. Consequently, I have NO intention of waiting a long period of time for another wiring harness problem. 06/03/2024 Approximately 1045 Hrs. Contacted Hyundai Customer Service. After explaining the above problems to the Customer Service Representative I was given a Case Number (23377109) and told that they would escalate the case and assign a Case Manager who would contact me in 3-5 business days. My conclusion: MTN. VIEW HYUNDAI is in the business to sell cars. They will sell and deliver a new car to a customer knowing that there may be a problem with it and worry about fixing the problem after the deal is signed and the vehicle is delivered. No matter what inconvenience it may cause the customer. In my case I live 40 miles from the dealership, I will not be able to enjoy some of the features of my new car for months. Last week I purchased two (2) new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe’s, a Limited and a Calligraphy from this dealership, I like both vehicles very much. I do not like the treatment received by the dealership in the fact that a known possible problem was not checked and fixed before delivery. More
