3 days ago We bought our 2018 Dodge Journey here brand new. I have always took it here for oil changes and tire rotation. On the last oil change, they forgot to put in an o ring or something and the oil new. I have always took it here for oil changes and tire rotation. On the last oil change, they forgot to put in an o ring or something and the oil leaked out all over the service bay floor....I though it was for another car so I left. 6 miles down the expressway it started to smoke really bad so I turned around and drove back to the dealership....the power steering went out and the engine was sounding bad. So I ran our car around 10 miles with no oil in the engine. I contacted the Chrysler Group in Michigan and they have it on their report should something happen to our car. Our car has 26000 miles on it and the drivers side headlamp had condensation so I asked for it to be replaced. They called me back and said there would be a $250 deductible on this headlamp assembly. It costs around $442 dollars and I thought because of my bad experience before they would just put in a new headlamp assembly.....They said no......so I will never come back to Mountain View Dodge for anything.....Live and learn....... Simple oil change took a hour and a half even with an appointment. The techs were on their phones instead of working which is probably why they left the engine cover off my Jeep and the interval sticker appointment. This place doesn’t care about customer service and has a too big to fail attitude. Very lazy except when trying to up sell you on overpriced services. They called shortly after I left the dealership which I assume was to tell me they left parts off my car, but when I didn’t answer ( because I was driving ) they were too lazy to leave a voice mail so it wasn’t until I got home and was checking their work that I noticed the cover was missing. I won’t go back to any of their lots and I will try to persuade as many people as I can to do the same. More
