View Chevrolet was nothing short of unbelievable, and not in a positive way. I took my car in for servicing after a check engine light appeared. Less than 1000 miles prior to this I had the same issue looked at by another Chevrolet dealer and the dealer gave me a print out of the issues. I had those issues fixed by another service center locally. I also had new brakes, new rotors, and a mirage of other things done to the vehicle to get it ready for my 16 year old daughter to drive. When I received the call from Mtn. View to tell me everything that was wrong with the car, red flags went up all over the place. I simply took the car for a check engine light with less than 1000 miles on it since the last Chevrolet inspection. Mtn. View told me I needed to replace everything that I had just had fixed....I needed all new brakes and rotors, I needed to fix a couple of other issues that I had just had completed, and a host of other things. When I told the guy that I just had new brakes and rotors put on it, he said, "oh, okay" like he knew it didn't really need those things. We told them we did not want to do all of the work they were suggesting because we had just had those things done. We went to pick up the car. When we started the car it made a loud noise that it did not have prior to being looked at by Mtn. View. The service man then proceeded to argue with me about it and told me he would "fix the issue at a discount". I have never experienced anything like this. I would never recommend this service center to anyone unless he wants to be ripped off. More

5 1/2 hour wait for scheduled work, no loaner or ride offer I came in with my recall card and my failed emissions test result to schedule an appointment in person. So Dealer KNEW I had 3 recall problems to fix I came in with my recall card and my failed emissions test result to schedule an appointment in person. So Dealer KNEW I had 3 recall problems to fix plus problem from failed emissions and I told them I did not have ride/would have to wait for work to be done. Right then, I should've been offered a loaner because Dealer apparently knew that these recalls are very time-consuming, a fact that they did not share with me when I made my appointment but were quick to claim when I asked for a status update after waiting the first 2.5 hours. I showed up right on time at 8 am for my appointment on scheduled day. I didn't check out until 1:20 pm. No one offered me a loaner or a ride. I realize the emissions issue could not be repaired until after the recall problem were fixed, but the recall work took the majority of the time. Recalls are a GM problem...NOT an owner problem. Extremely inconvenient. I spent over $900 on fixing the emissions problem. I did not feel like a valued customer. I should have been offered a loaner car. Waiting room was cold, chairs uncomfortably low, couldn't stretch out my legs without tripping other customers, loud TV made it hard to work. Trying to go outside to make a phone call was impossible due to loud music from outside speakers. No where to sit outside. No food except vending machine junk. Would've brought my lunch if they had told me recall work takes so long. Hungry, cold, headache. Awful way to spend the day. Awful way to spend $900. More

My home town dealer recommended Mountain View, now I am paying $110.00 plus tax to have my vehicle released so that it may be towed (another $250.00 on top of the $75.00 already paid to have it towed to your dealership) to my home town dealership. I am just really disappointed in your integrity or lack of it. I have just under $200 tied up in this situation and the vehicle is not even out of Chattanooga. I will pay for the tow and for fixing the vehicle and still be under your original quote to my son at our local dealership. More
