Repairs I has my truck repaired at Volunteer Chevrolet in Sevierville Tn, they replaced the wheel bearing on left front driver side. Going 70 mph the tie rod I has my truck repaired at Volunteer Chevrolet in Sevierville Tn, they replaced the wheel bearing on left front driver side. Going 70 mph the tie rod arm cam off because they didn't put the bolt back on . I was able to get off the road and get here at Mt View . They put me first in line. Fixed my truck, charged me nothing. Treated me great because I was all to pieces. They are great. God Bless the service dept. More

Poor experience My husband and I went to Mountain View Chevy to look for a family vehicle with certain specifics. Tim and Laney were able to find what we thought was My husband and I went to Mountain View Chevy to look for a family vehicle with certain specifics. Tim and Laney were able to find what we thought was the perfect vehicle for us, although we soon found out some big issues on the car and they didn't stand up to their word that we agreed on when signing the contract. While we sat there, waiting on a price for the vehicle (Wasn't even priced yet), they continued to talk us into purchasing it. My husband and I stated several times that we weren't ready to commit and wanted to leave to talk it over, although they somehow managed to meet all of our needs (So we thought), so we agreed and purchased the car. When talking over the contract, they agreed to do the following: replace windshield, detail/clean car, fix steering wheel flaws, oil change. They stated that the vehicle was being looked over by the mechanics for any issues and they assured us it would be safe to drive. They stated they were also completing the oil change, and getting it cleaned. We sat there at the dealership for about 5 hours, When they finally brought the vehicle to us, we noticed it wasn't cleaned; Tim stated that they could do that when we brought the car back for the repair on the windshield. The next day, my husband checked the oil and he noticed that they didn't even change the oil like they said they would (there was barely any oil in the car). My husband immediately called them, who said to bring the car up the next day for the oil change. They changed the oil, although didn't top fluids off. A few days later we were able to make an appointment to get the windshield replaced and the car detailed/washed. They replaced the windshield like they said they were going to do, although they didn't wash/detail. AGAIN, they said to bring the car back to them another date for the wash/detail. I took the car up there, my husband picked it up only to find crumbs in the floor, sticky stuff in the cup holders....It looked like they only ran it through a car wash. Then my husband had our mechanic look over the engine and rest of car only to find HORRIBLE brakes and a broken transfer case. When we notified the dealership yet AGAIN about the issues, they stated they would look at the brakes, but that is all they could do. They only changed 2 of the 4 brake pads. They were not willing to fix the broken transfer case. We went to this dealership looking for a good working, safe vehicle for our family. I feel like they were nothing but dishonest. They still haven't detailed the car or fixed the steering wheel...and that is after 4 additional trips to the dealership. There are also other issues with the car including a cracked dash, broken defrost cord on back window that they failed to disclose to us. Mountain View Chevy is dishonest and we wont be doing business with them ever again. More
