Good People, Good Price, Good Car. I purchased a BMW hatchback from Denver at Mountain Motors. The car was not 100% perfect by any means, but what 20 year old car is? It ran and drove perfectly, with a few cosmetic issues, and a slightly squishy old suspension (which was fine for daily driving, but I like sportier setups), so with little work the car was a gem. The price was right about the value that you might expect to purchase the car from a private seller, which is great for a dealer. About a year after I purchased my BMW I came to look at a few others for a friend, and he remembered me, even though I came in a different car, and even had held a spare key for the car he had found and gave to me that time. I will definitely look into dealing with them again for another car. More

We drove over an hour to see a truck at Mountain Motors. We test drove the vehicle in the late evening (dark). For these reasons, we specifically asked about the engine and any other major problems. We understand the pros/cons of buying an older vehicle, but to lie and sale a vehicle with the issue it had was dangerous and unethical. While driving early the next morning, smoke fume and vapors filled the car and fogged up the windows. Choking, we stopped in the middle of traffic to get visibility to move to the side of the road. My son and I were scared to death. A mechanic later diagnosed the truck and stated that stop leak was placed in it to camouflage the issue when I purchased it the night before. Cost to fix it is about $1000.00 I have been calling Mr. Denver and left numerous messages with no return call. He is the reason there is a negative stigma on used car salesman. He was friendly, empathetic, sympathetic, verbose, and a liar. I have no choice but to take the lost on this purchase, but I would hate to see this happen to someone else. Handle you dealings with this person carefully but don’t lose Faith in people as a whole. More

The other cars I have bought from them have been great---and I expect this one to be the same-not only were they nice and friendly all three times-Denver gave me choices-told me what if anything might be wrong-and gave me great deals every time!! also-as a side note-one cold winter day last year I ran out of gas down the road in my daughters car-coasted to Mountain Motors-Denver supplied me with the gas can and a vehicle to drive to the store with no hesitation at all-Now that is what I call Friendly home town service!! My husband and I purchased a used vehicle from Mountain Motors for our high schooler to drive. We were assured the car was checked out mechanically and was in good condition. The car we bought was mechanically unsafe and has been in the shop more than at our house...Although the owner of the dealership was helpful with the initial repairs, it did not resolve the issue this car is having. Basically, for our money we now own an undriveable vehicle. More
