Was looking for a very specific truck and found that this dealership had one on order and it was arriving soon. A few California dealers also had something similar, but they were all being greedy and marking dealership had one on order and it was arriving soon. A few California dealers also had something similar, but they were all being greedy and marking them up $5K to $10K. Called Mountain Home Auto Ranch and spoke to Luis in sales. He confirmed the truck was available so I put a deposit down on it, watiing for it to arrive. Yesterday it arrived, so I flew from CA to ID and took delivery of my new truck. Luis had all the paperwork ready to go when I arrived and Jeremy the sales manager went through all our paperwork in about 20 minutes. Luis helped us set up a few custom things on the truck and within an hour we were driving off. It was a seamless transaction, no high pressure sales, no games. A true hometown dealership that cares about customers and treats them with respect! You can't find this in CA anymore, it was a breath of fresh air to experience this again in Idaho! It was worth the 10 hour drive home! More
Horrible Customer Service!!! Customer # 254332 Horrible Customer Service!!! Customer # 254332 7/5/2019, 38 miles, I bought / financed a 2018 Ram 2500 6.7 Diesel Mega Cab. We ended up paying $ Horrible Customer Service!!! Customer # 254332 7/5/2019, 38 miles, I bought / financed a 2018 Ram 2500 6.7 Diesel Mega Cab. We ended up paying $66,665 out the door. Right away we noticed the sunroof was leaking water when we ran it through the car wash. 08/12/2020, 17,631 miles, I Drove my vehicle in for a warranty repair at dealer for sunroof, Auto Ranch made repair. I drove it through the car wash, the sunroof was still leaking. 11/11/2020, 21,662 miles, I Drove my vehicle in for a warranty repair at dealer, Auto Ranch again for sunroof leak & check engine light on. Dealer made repair. Again I drove it through the car wash directly after repair. The sunroof was still leaking & check engine light came back on within a couple miles. 12/10/2020, 22,719 miles, I drove my vehicle back to the Auto Ranch dealer again for sunroof leak & check engine light on & new Problem with U-Connect software freezing up and shutting down. Mountain Home Auto Ranch only addressed the check engine light issue. Service Adviser Daniel Hawkley called me and advised me they found the problem with the check engine light, it was the DEF pump that was defective. The pump was covered under warranty, but the Auto Ranch did not have the part in stock and further advised they have checked all options and no one in the country has one. A new part wasn’t going to even be manufactured until 4/2021, I should not drive the vehicle because it will breakdown. I told Daniel I couldn’t just park my truck for four months and asked if they could take a new pump from one of the trucks on their lot. He said NO, I found a new factory Chrysler pump online and asked him if they could get that pump and install it in my truck. He checked called me back and said NO. I picked up my truck and Service Adviser Daniel Hawkley handed me an 800 phone number to Chrysler Customer Service in India and said Good Luck… 12/10/2020, I called the Chrysler Customer Service in India and spoke with a female who was intelligible. I eventually got out of her that she was going to pass my complaint to a “Customer Care Specialist” and that person would get in touch within one business day. I waited three business and called back explaining I haven’t been contacted by anyone yet. A male (name unknown) advised me that the female I initially spoke with did not process the complaint property and I need to go through the process again with him. I explained the situation once again. He advised someone would get a hold of me within the next 24 hours. 12/15/2020, I received a call from James, a “Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Customer Care Specialist” He advised me he was assigned my case, and he will be trying to get me a rental car, but said they only reimburse up to $35 a day. Case # 77928326 12/16/2020, I haven’t heard from anyone yet so I called James at the end of the day. He said he had called and explained the situation and asked Brad Caldera “General Sales Manage” at Mountain Home Auto Ranch if he would authorize a rental car. Brad Caldera denied a rental or loaner vehicle. At this point whatever they come up with is too little – too late. I have had it with the entire situation. I’m Sick & Tried of crappy UNSATISFACTORY Customer Service and over promise/ under deliver tactics from Dealer Service Advisers, Chrysler Customer Service in India, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Customer Care Specialists, General Manager and most of all a Crappy unreliable Chrysler / Ram product! As of yesterday I have entered into negotiations with another dealership for a new truck and I’ll be trading my lame Ram in. After it’s all done I’ll have lost $5,000 to $6,000 on this trade-in. It makes me so mad I can’t see straight. I bought a brand new $66,000 Truck and got such Crappy customer service after the sale! If you can even call this customer service! You can bet I will NEVER spend my money on a Chrysler product again!! And I’ll do my best to deter others from doing business with you people as well. You people should be ashamed of your selves! ” Thank you for contacting RAM Customer Care. Our goal is to provide you with an outstanding customer experience.” YEAH RIGHT…. Don’t ever contact me again! More

Besides our 6 1/2 wait time in the lobby, their service and friendliness was great. Except they tracked grease all through the front of our motorhome, of which we'd just cleaned the carpet. They even trac and friendliness was great. Except they tracked grease all through the front of our motorhome, of which we'd just cleaned the carpet. They even tracked it all over our entrance step as well. Would have been nice if they'd laid down a runner before going back and forth inside. Now we have to take it in to get it professionally cleaned. Overall though, I'd wouldn't write them off my list. More
Advertised website prices are not even close. Sad way to do business. Find another dealer that will not false advertise. Rusty changed the price multiple times. do business. Find another dealer that will not false advertise. Rusty changed the price multiple times. More
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! We purchased a car from Meridian Auto Ranch on December 10, 2019 for our daughters Christmas present. We were told that the car was marked down as a “mechanics special” We immediately inquired about what exactly that meant since we were not looking for a car needing major repairs. We were told multiple times by Tony and TJ that they have the best mechanics that go through each used car bumper to bumper before it ever hits the lot. The ONLY thing that was wrong with it was the sunroof didn’t slide back and they didn’t want to put $900 into the car to fix it. They told us the car had been serviced, including an oil change and even offered us 2 free oil changes to use anytime this year. We trusted them and believed they we being forth coming since we asked them directly. The day after Christmas, December 26th, our daughter took the car out for her first drive. She came back saying the car wouldn’t accelerate. We immediately took the car back to the Auto Ranch to find out the transmission needed to be replaced. We had only put 30 miles on the car! After 2 weeks of the Auto Ranch avoiding us and making empty promises, we finally agreed to pay for the transmission at “their cost”. Many times we were promised call backs from Geoff, Tj and Darren, which no one ever called us back. We were told to come by and speak directly to the general manager Darren. When we arrived he wouldn’t even face us and sent a runner to communicate between us. The day we got the car back we checked the oil and to our surprise it was sledge like and crusty. We took it to a local oilery where we were told oil hadn’t been changed in at least a year and was 2 ½ quarts low! We paid $100 to have an engine flush and air filter changed as the air filter was filthy and covered in hay. Just this week we found out the car needs a complete brake replacement. There is no way this car went through any type of “bumper to bumper” check by Meridian Auto Ranch. We were completely lied to and now paying for a mound of car repairs. Worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with!!! I purchased a new 2018 Ram 3500 in April of this year from Mountain Home Auto Ranch and drove up from Omaha, Nebraska to pick it up. It was the closes I purchased a new 2018 Ram 3500 in April of this year from Mountain Home Auto Ranch and drove up from Omaha, Nebraska to pick it up. It was the closest 2018 I could find with the options we needed. My salesperson was Rusty McAlexander. Before I made the drive, I specifically asked the sales manager, Brad Caldera and Rusty multiple times if there was any previous damage on the vehicle to make sure there wasn’t going to be any surprises when I got there. Previously, I looked at a similar truck in Missouri and the dealer disclosed that there had been damage repaired, but only after I drove 6 hours. I did not want that to happen again. Brad and Rusty from Mountain Home Auto Ranch even joked about how they “don’t do that kind of stuff there” when I asked. A week after I got the truck home, I found out it had been damaged/wrecked and repaired very poorly. I was flat out lied to. I called and talked to the service manager, Craig Clifford. He told me that damage does not have to be disclosed and they sell previously damaged and repaired “new” vehicles almost daily. When I tried to explain how deceiving that is, he hung up on me. When I called back he tried to deny it. He eventually told me to go get the truck repaired correctly and they would pay for it, so I gave up arguing with them and had the fender repainted and the headlight fixed. I emailed him the invoice and got no response. I had to call and leave a message everyday for over a week. When I finally got ahold of Craig, he lied to me again! He denied ever getting any of the messages and denied ever telling me to get the truck fixed, so he wasn’t paying the invoice. I have called and left more than 10 messages for the general manager, Darren Potter, Craig and Brad, and still haven’t received a call back. I’ve never been treated so poorly and lied to so many times by a dealership after spending that kind of money on a vehicle. All I asked was that they do what they can to make it right. They don’t care about their customers at all. Mountain Home Auto Ranch is the epitome of that shady car dealer we all hate. I’ve given them plenty of time to make things right before writing this review. You are absolutely OUT OF YOUR MIND if you spend money with these people, they will mislead and deceive you every chance they get. Buy your vehicles in Boise, these people are NOT worth the drive.
