Great car buying experience! I had a great experience with Mount Airy Toyota. I had been looking for a Highlander and comparing dealerships. Mount Airy did not have what I was looking for but after talking with Jeremiah Johnson they made it happen. They got me what I was looking for at a price no one else could compare to. They made the buying process easy and had my new car within the week. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great car at a great deal to give them a try. And ask for Jeremiah. More

This dealership however, with Josh Williamson, treats you like a human being and you can really tell they would like to earn your business. Very easy to deal with alone with no hassle pricing. Terrible I bought a brand new vehicle from this location back in 2014. I immediately had problems with the chrome on the tires peeling off of them. I was told I bought a brand new vehicle from this location back in 2014. I immediately had problems with the chrome on the tires peeling off of them. I was told that this was not their problem even though my truck had 16k miles on it. More recently I went to change a flat tire and they provided me with the wrong size lug nut wrench and once again was told it was not their problem. The buying process was easy and they have good salesmen, but save yourself some issues by just buying from a different Toyota location. More

Pitiful excuse of a Toyota Service Department I purchased my 2016 Toyota Tacoma in December of 2015 it was actually only 1 of 2 White 4 door TRD Off Roads to be delivered to Toyota of The SouthEas I purchased my 2016 Toyota Tacoma in December of 2015 it was actually only 1 of 2 White 4 door TRD Off Roads to be delivered to Toyota of The SouthEast, so my choices of dealers was slim picking due to the specific color I was after. After much deliberating on the pricing I was able to go home with this vehicle, absolutely loved it until about 5000 miles. The transmission was shifting so erratically and actually once missed a gear going up a steep grade in virginia at highway speeds and shook the truck so hard I thought the transmission fell to the ground. Once I got back home from my trip I took it to Mt. Airy Toyota service department whom of which is incapable of answering the phone to even the president himself. So after multiple days and many phone calls unanswered, I went to the dealer anyhow. Once there I was told there would be a 2 hour wait on top of the vehicle diagnosis. I told them I had repeatedly called and tried to make an appointment, but they somehow they couldn't answer the phone. Unhappy about the wait, I approached the Manager and told him it's a pitiful excuse to be unable to reach the department responsible for servicing my $40k truck that I purchased from his dealership. I was told that he would take care of the issue. So back to my wait time that had only elapsed 15 mins by this time, I waited and waited, saw my truck was still where I had parked it, and after the 2 hours, I saw they took it back. Another 45 mins later I was approached by the service department manager who told me they couldn't find any issues, that it had not shown any codes for malfunction , and they were unable to make the vehicle shift erratically in any way whatsoever. I was told that anything that may have happened is "Normal" and that if I experienced any more issues to call and make another appointment for another look. I love it when I hear the word "Normal" from a new car dealer, this pretty much means, "I'm too lazy to look any further into this and going to use an excuse to get this person out of here". Unhappy to say the least I left and went home and did lots of research. Come to find out THOUSANDS of people had this exact same complaint. At this point you know you're right with your statements and know something is up. Once again I called, NO ANSWER. I didn't waste my time with this trip. I took it to another dealer, who ANSWERED their phones and were able to figure out my truck was low on transmission fluid. So as you can see, something so small that was supposedly checked on my 5000 mile oil change was never checked at all, clearly the whole department themselves do not care. I will never ever take my cars back there again. More
