Everyone I dealt with was professional, knowledgable and very friendly/personable. They all seemed to go above and beyond to help me as the customer get what I needed, including follow-up after the purchase. And they are dog friendly which meant I was able to bring my pet pooch along! More

First off I came into Motorwerks MINI last week to check out the countryman and so many things about the place just made me happy to walk in the door. First off, was how welcoming the receptionist greeted me with a smile and directed me to a sales person quickly. She introduced me to Gretchen. I have never met a salesperson after telling her I was just looking for now and won't be in the market for another 6-12 months and still took care of me as if I were buying today. She showed me different models, new and pre- owned, and provided me with great information so I could learn more about the Mini's. She also gave me a little booklet about the models which I absolutely love. Can't wait to come back in there and see everyone again. :) More
Disappointing and Frustrating Sales Experience I have been a loyal customer of this dealer for many years, but since they broke off to a separate site, communication and honesty are now lacking. I I have been a loyal customer of this dealer for many years, but since they broke off to a separate site, communication and honesty are now lacking. I visited the dealer 4 weeks ago interested in a Mini Roadster advertised online. When I went into the store, the salesman spent 20 minutes searching for the unit, then took down my info and informed me that it had just been sold. The same car showed up online 2 weeks later and I sent in not one but two separate inquires via cars.com. Nobody followed up. I drove by the dealer and saw the car on the lot with a sold sign. Frustrated, I called the dealer to speak with a salesperson. The gentleman who took the car explained that someone had just placed a deposit and knew nothing of my inquiry. I asked to be transferred to a manager and he hung up the phone ! I then stopped into the dealer to speak with a sales manager to explain my dismay that nobody followed up. He agreed to follow up with me and thus far not a word. Looks like they sold the car and have no interest in my business. BEWARE!! More
I dropped my car off for an oil change and a check engine light. I wasn't called that day as promised, so I showed up to get a loaner car. When I got home I was called by the adviser to let me know they found the oil leak I brought it in for. The thing is, I didn't bring it in for an oil leak, nor does my car leak oil. I was told there was a crushed oil pan and the repair would be over $1,200. I called the dealership the next morning to let them know I’d be coming to inspect the so-called damage, and they told me that now only the oil pan needed to be fixed for $750. Upon showing up back at the dealership the next morning and inspecting it, I found that there was NOT a crushed oil pan, and they conveniently replaced some of the other parts under 'warranty'. I was blatantly lied to about the oil pan, more than likely to take advantage of me by replacing something that did NOT need to be replaced. After I called out the adviser on the lie, he and the tech backpedaled about the repair and told me now that it wasn't necessary. Service is included with my lease, but I will NOT be purchasing or servicing again at this dealership. EVER. I understand up selling, and finding other things wrong with the vehicle, but telling the customer a downright lie is not appreciated. More
Took my car in for a service recall on at the AUX water pump under the turbo and ended up driving my car less then 20 miles and a hole was in the BACK of my radiator. The pump is directly behind the radia pump under the turbo and ended up driving my car less then 20 miles and a hole was in the BACK of my radiator. The pump is directly behind the radiator but yet the dealer did not take responsibility for it and I was told that this service had nothing to do with the radiator. To note: This put me a day behind going home (Dealer is 5 1/2 hours away.) More

Hone Clayton Nicholson is: Kind - felt like I was talking to a good friend. Considerate - I never felt as though I was asking too many questions. Honest - I felt that everything he told me about the Countryman was true, and found, after driving my mini for two months, that indeed he was truthful. Clayton was confident when answering questions which told me he knew what he was talking about. If he did not have an answer, he took the time to find the answer for me. Clayton was determined to find the exact Countryman I wanted, and except for the cherry red I wanted (Real Red was orange to me), I got everything I was looking for. I had many questions, and he answered all of them with confidence, and was thorough. His attitude and personality were key to a positive outcome. Everything about the vehicle is as he said. Out of all the car sales reps I have dealt with in the past, Clayton is by far the most sincere and honest. He has great integrity. I have already referred Clayton and Motorwerks Mini to people who have admired my Mini Countryman. Thank you for a wonderful car! Sincerely, Nancy Hajt I, first had to be convinced that a Mini Cooper was: 1) Able to meet our needs 2) Worth the price tag 3) Not provide me buyer's remorse since, based upon owning a used "E" class, that I would never purchase a European/German made vehicle again due to maintenance cost. Rick ? the manager and Clayton Nicholson as a team were able to meet items 1-3. Clayton was introduced by Rick, sales manager, who also I must give significant credit to in putting the deal together. Why?, because I personally have sold large dollar medical equipment for over 20+ years. It is never easy selling to a salesman. One of my core personal and professional values is having integrity. If Clayton and Rick showed any signs of not dealing in that manner I would have walked. One of the biggest factors I give Clayton credit for is: 1) When he didn't know something he admitted it and took the appropriate action to gain the correct answer. 2) Treated my wife with patience and respect, she asked a lot of questions. 3) Clayton never felt offended, or never showed it, when I needed to take the negotiations to a higher level,i.e. Rick. Because I knew he did not have the authority to do so! Being new to sales he never let his ego get into the way or felt offended when I contacted Rick directly. For this one factor alone I give glowing marks to Clayton. I am hopeful he used this as a learning experience. Why; to me it is so important because every successful salesman knows "controlling" the sales process is a key element to success. It is the mature individual or experienced sale rep who know when to give it up at the appropriate time and not let their EGO screw it up! Rick, deserves a lot of credit for some of the same reasons. One of the KEY factors to the close was his ability to acknowledge " my professional experience" and the provide a "think outside of the box" solution to achieve a good deal. Rich Hajt More
I am 66 years old and a car guy. I have owned 30-40 cars in my lifetime. And all best of breed. I decided to purchase the John Cooper Works Coupe. This is the third Mini I have bought from Motorworks and in my lifetime. And all best of breed. I decided to purchase the John Cooper Works Coupe. This is the third Mini I have bought from Motorworks and Gretchen Tellock. Of all the cars I have owned this has been the most fun to drive, and look at. Everybody wants to talk to me about it. And of course, the customer service at this dealership is second to none. That's why I keep coming back. You could not have a better dealer experience than Motorworks. Thanks Gretchen and Motorworks for another great car buying experience!!! More
