Great Experience with Shawn and Motorwerks I enjoyed buying my third BMW X3 in less than three years all at Motorwerks and all of them working with Shawn. The third one has been a charm since I found this vehicle online as i liked to visit this site normally. I found the X3 that i wanted and it was relatively new as it was a Demo car. As soon as i saw it i IM'd Shawn and told him that i am interested. I also requested to provide the best numbers to me. Shawn went ahead and put together the numbers the next day he was in office and we made the deal even before i saw the vehicle. Shawn was very helpful through this process and hope to continue working with Shawn in the future. With that comes certain pre-conceived notions of what the dealership experience will be in the negative context. I would like to say that it was all on the positive. I did my research online first narrowing down my options and saw that they had the car I wanted to check out with maybe one other as a back up option. I walked in and was assigned to Edin and right off the bat, he couldn't have been nicer. I let me know what I was looking for and before checking I was offered water, coffee, pastries etc. I will say this, I've been at the dealership before as a stop on the Drive for the Cure and it is a nice place. The buying process took a while but was also very thorough, he got all the info on the car, got it ready for the test drive which went well. When it came time for numbers we worked it out and came to an agreeable number based on Carfax, plus their own dealer intake list. The only downside was a missed signature during the finance process that I had to come back to sign a couple days later. That isn't even a complaint just something that happened. On the upside, I did get to chat with Edin some more and show him my daily driver motorcycle which we had talked about during the car buying process. Overall, I know the individual people you deal with can vary in how your experience goes but in my situation, Edin was great and I would recommend him. It is a fancy looking dealership and it's easy to get intimidated, and easy to think they won't take you serious if you aren't packing suitcases full of cash, but my personal experience was excellent even though I was buying a used, lower cost car. I wasn't in any way but professionally and kindly. More
