Very unprofessional, use of unsavory tactics I went in to the dealership on 12/5/2017 to look at Chevy Volt that was posted for sale @ $1,4995. Went on a test drive, everything seemed to be fine. I went in to the dealership on 12/5/2017 to look at Chevy Volt that was posted for sale @ $1,4995. Went on a test drive, everything seemed to be fine. Got back to the dealership and right off the bat the salesman “Dustin” comes back with paperwork saying the car is $17,995 plus tax and licensing. I immediately objected and showed him the add that had the car priced at $1,4995. I also gave him the keys to my car so he could take a look at it “2006 accord ex all the options with 207k miles, runs and drives great” I didn’t expect much for it but wanted to see what they would give me. Dustin holds onto my keys and is in a back office trying to see if they will honor the $1,4995 price etc. he comes out 20 minutes later and advises that we are a go at the $1,4995 plus taxes and licensing. I asked him about the trade in and he said they would offered me $1,500 for my car. I told him i could sale my car for more then that easily. I also advised that I am not into playing back and forth games, so please let me know what’s the bottom line out the door with or without trade in. He goes back into the back office for another 30 minuets or so. During this time I noticed he didn’t give me my keys back, so I asked another gentleman that worked at the dealership if he could do me a favor. He said sure, What is it? I asked him to go grab my keys from Dustin. The gentleman then responded, no I can’t do that for you, we do not get customers keys from other salesmen. I said fine, can you go tell Dustin to bring me my keys. It took Dustin another 10-15 minuets to bring me my keys. At that point I was done with the games so I left. Fast forward to today 1/22/2018. I saw that the dealership still had the Volt for sale and the price had dropped several times. It was unclear what the actual price was because it was posted on facebook for two different prices $13,995, $13,122 and a different price on auto-trader.com reached out to Curtis via facebook market place / messenger. I advised that I would pay $10,000 cash and give my 2006 accord ex as a trade in out the door. Curtis advised that we had a deal. I then followed up and said please check in with the decision maker to ensure that we are good to go. Curtis said he was told to have me come in and that we had a deal. I had a aftermarket sound system in the car so I had to have that removed before heading out. Once the sound system was removed I reached out to Curtis once again to confirm that we had a deal and outlined that I do not want to waist my or anyone’s time. He responded, yes we are good to go. I asked who do I have my bank make the $10,000 check out to, he responded “Motors Northwest”. I got the check and messaged Curtis letting him know what time I would be there. He let me know that Dustin would be ready for me. When I arrived Dustin acted as if he did not know what was going on with the deal. So I had to show him the messages. I asked several times to speak with the owner / decision maker and was denied. I then asked Dustin to call Curtis, he did. Curtis tried to tell me how great the car is and I should just pay the extra money for it etc. at this point I was beyond upset and frustrated. I asked him who he got approval from for the deal that we agreed to, he said Dustin. Dustin clearly didn’t know what was going on nor is he a decision maker. I asked again to speak with a manager or supervisor and was told JT “the manager” was on break and would be back soon. I asked if they could call him to get a ETA, I was told that they could not call him. Finally the manager JT came back from lunch. Dustin said that he was going to go let JT know what was going on. 10-15 minuets then Dustin came out and said JT was seeing what he can do. 20-30 minuets still no JT, I asked Dustin if he could see what was going on. He finally got JT to come out. Right off the bat JT told me the Curtis didn’t tell me we had a deal or to get a check for $10k from the bank. I showed him the facebook messages, he read them, shaking his head back and forth. Looked at me and said I’m sorry but there is nothing I can do. I advised that my time is valuable and that I’m a person that will over communicate as well as being a person who’s rooted in values. I advised that I would have no issue spending money retaining a lawyer to seek damages for my time and the cost of having sound system removed and reinstalled. JT became very condescending saying that he has way more money then I do and that he will mop the floor with my lawyer. He became very rude and agitated. At this point I shook Dustin’s and JT’s hands and left. I told them that they would be hearing from me. Also note that I live about 40 miles away from Motors Northwest, when I got home I received a phone call from JT. He wanted to call and say that he reflected on how he behaved and that he was sorry. He advised that I have every right to be upset and to do whatever I felt necessary. I responded, thank you for taking the time to reflect and calling to say sorry. I will take what ever steps I see fit to remedy this situation. More
Disappointed they knowingly misrepresent what they sell!! The knowingly misrepresent what the have, in their adds! To me that shows ZERO integrity and are trying to trick uneducated customers by saying a rig The knowingly misrepresent what the have, in their adds! To me that shows ZERO integrity and are trying to trick uneducated customers by saying a rig is something that’s it’s not. Personally I like more integrity from some I buy a car or truck from!! If they’re willing to lie about what the rig is, there willing to lie about anything!! More

I first contacted Motors NW by phone. I was referred to them by a co-worker that had bought two trucks from them previously. I was in no rush and just needed a few questions answered. I talked to Mak on th them by a co-worker that had bought two trucks from them previously. I was in no rush and just needed a few questions answered. I talked to Mak on the phone, he was very accommodating. When I decided to pop-in unexpectedly just to look around I met Rich. He was an excellent tour guide and knowledgable without the pressure. They had the perfect truck for me but I wanted time to do some research before I bought. I decided to go ahead with my purchase and went into the dealership again. Louis and Rich both helped me with the final information I needed and the paperwork that was necessary to complete my purchase. They even gave me more than I expected for my old yard truck. Sara Nichols assisted with my bank loan, got me an excellent financing option and was very helpful with all of the required forms. I have been very satisfied with my entire experience. They still stay in contact with me and have assisted with follow up questions about my new truck. I will return to them, not too soon though, I love my F150! More
