I stopped into Motorcars of Lansing after leaving RPM to find a used vehicle to replace my mini van. They have been very polite and helpful with any questions I have. I was pleased with the great selection of vehicles on their lot, they have a large selection from Cadillac to Mercedes and Range Rovers. I have almost paid my vehicle off with them and am getting ready to look into getting another vehicle from Motorcars of Lansing. More
Just purchased a Mercedes Benz from John Badawi at Motorcars of Lansing and I recieved Great service. Everyone there went out of their way to make sure we were taken care off. No pressure sales atmosp Motorcars of Lansing and I recieved Great service. Everyone there went out of their way to make sure we were taken care off. No pressure sales atmosphere. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. I only came in to spend $8000 but couldn't help myself once I seen the car. Although the place is busy I was still in and out of there in with the hour. We went to Motor cars of Lansing to look for a van. Upon arriving we asked to see a Kia van that they had. We took it for a test drive but could not take it far due to it being out of gas. When we returned to the dealship we told Michael that we would like to come drive it again tomorrow when it has some gas in it so we could take itr on the highway and drive it a little more. Michael told us the best thing to do is fill out credit apps on myself and my husband,leave a deposit on the van and he would have many payment plans for us to choose from when we called him tomorrow between 11 and 12. We wrote them a check for 200.00 dollars after asking if the money was refundable if we changed our mind about the van or the deal fell through. He told us we would just get our check back if it did not work out. Myself and my husband both called him the next day and was told he was not in the office and that he would return our calls when he came in. My husband called 2 or 3 hours later and was told Michael was gone for the day. My husband called the following day and was told there was nothing they could do for us. Never gave us any options. My husband told him that was fine we would just come tonight to pick up our check. Michael said ok. Upon arriving at the dealership we were told that they deposited our check and we had to wait 7 to 10 days for our money back. We told them that we were not waiting that was not what we were told, we were told we could come pick up the check. Michael got angry and began yelling about the check. They were other customers on the lot, they began to walk toward there car and I yelled DONT BUY A CAR FROM HERE, THIS IS CRAP. Then Michael said that just cost us our deposit because you drove our customers away and told us to get the F*** off his lot. The owner John came out and said he had just deposit our check today and that he would get it for us. He went to the bank and it wasnt there, then he changed his story. He said our check was at his house. It took us 3 more time and stopping payment on the check before we finally got our check back. I would not suggest this dealship to my worst enemy. Do not shop here. More

I searched around the Lansing area for about 4 monthes for a car before finally settling with Motor cars of Lansing. I was looking for a specific vehicle, a black dodge charger, and all I had found up unt for a car before finally settling with Motor cars of Lansing. I was looking for a specific vehicle, a black dodge charger, and all I had found up until that point were too high of prices and/or too high of miles. I talked to John and told him exactly what I was looking for and within a little over a week he had found exactly what I wanted. I was sceptical at first since I had shopped around for so long and had only found rediculously high prices everywhere. Especially for the about of miles that was on the vehicle, but John gave me an amazing deal, that was around $4,000 cheaper than any price I had found throught Michigan! Overall, I had great experience at Motor Cars of Lansing and would recommend their services to anyone. I still take my car there for oil changes and feel like I'm treated like a family member everytime. More
After shopping around for a new van I found everything i was looking for online at Motorcars of lansing the price was right and the van was exactly what i was looking for. John was more then willing to answer all my questions and email me additional information plus the carfax. I felt really good about taking around a 4hr drive to lansing and for great reason, the Caravan was exactly as described with some added extras like Stow and go seating that were just a plus for me. Overall this was a great experience the whole staff was wonderful and John made me feel very comfortable. For any other single mothers or anyone else looking for a great vehicle at reasonable prices I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND MOTORCARS, they were GREAT! More
Staff was shady and manipulative from the moment we got there. The car looked sharp and appeared to drive decently with few minor issues. We were repeatedly told that there was absolutely NOTHING wrong wit there. The car looked sharp and appeared to drive decently with few minor issues. We were repeatedly told that there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with the car and John was very adamant about not negotiating the price down whatsoever. We took the car to get inspected and were told that this vehicle was in a severe front end collision!! Furthermore the bumper was severely damaged inside the car and there was no protective mask for any of the wires beneath the car. We were told that this car is extremely unsafe because of the exposed wires and this issue needs to be fixed immediately. After speaking with John, he changed his story a MILLION times about why he did not disclose this information to us. Plus, he increased the price on us with conditions that we buy the vehicle and his 'promise' to fix all the issues. What kind of compromise is this?? Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service. These people will screw you over. They will do anything for your money. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Don't waste your money here. Buy somewhere else. You won't regret it. More
We have just realized that the transfer of plates were paid for by us but never taken care of. We were told numerous times that the day after getting the vehicle home , all of the damages on the car would paid for by us but never taken care of. We have waited as long ad possible for this to happen along with numerous phone calls its not being handled. I am making one more call tomorrow. If we do not get the car back in legal driving condition there will be a law suit as well! It's unfortunate a 21 year old paying cash for his dream car gets treated like this. I remain... BUYER BEWARE. The dealership sells nothing but junky cars. I should have gotten a clue when there were more returning customers in the lobby complaining about the car they purchased from this dealership cars. I returned a used 2006 Suzuki Verano because the mechanics found paint chips in the oil. John misled me by failing to tell me that any time you change the oil it costs minimally $60 for this model car and the parts are impossible to find. He looked me directly in the eye and lied to my face. I paid John $300 down on the car and he did't return my money until I told him I filed a complaint with the Secretary of State who investigates dealerships and that I was filing suit for the return of my down payment and court costs. I have filed official complaints with two agencies on-line because Motorscars lied about the rate they alleged I would be financed at and they also lied to the lender about how much I put down. I was also going to file a suit to get my money back but John finally returned it. Don't give them a dime; they are real sweet until you return a car and ask for your money back. Get everything in writing like I did so you have the evidence you need to file complaints. Don't begin signing any loan documentation without first seeing in writing the page that shows your interest rate and how much you put down. I am also contacting the service that works between the dealership and the lender to provide proof of what they said I put down and a copy of the actual check I wrote them. I received a very nasty email from John the owner for writing this complaint. Shame on a dealership attempting to take advantage of a single mother looking to buy a descent car for her son. You be the judge. More
