I enjoyed my experience purchasing a car from motorwerks of barrington. In comparison to other dealers in the area, They were much more professional. when I asked about all pricing options, they gave me the line by line cost of all items and my different options. I appreciated the transparency. Kash and Ali were very kind and easy to work with. I would definitely come back in the future when looking for another car. More
Dishonest and sold car behind my back after running credit DISHONEST, OVERLY RAN CREDIT, DAYS WASTED. Day one spoke with Omar(rep?) and told him I was interested in a Tesla they had. I explained I wanted it a DISHONEST, OVERLY RAN CREDIT, DAYS WASTED. Day one spoke with Omar(rep?) and told him I was interested in a Tesla they had. I explained I wanted it and to consider it sold we agree that I would fill out an online application to prove I was serious. He said he would check with his manager Kolton and make sure he could hold it. We spoke hours later he assured me it was being held and to deal with Kolton now. Spoke with Kolton day 2 really nice guy, polite, empathetic, and kept in touch even late after hours. We spoke about the car being held again and I was assured once more the car was held for me as we wait for numbers to be ran. Sent over to speak with Malik seemed to busy to be polite explained I was declined (which I'm guessing is why he didn't feel like being polite and in a rush to get me off the phone) I said no worries, CONTINUE TO HOLD THE CAR! I would call back in a few hours with secured financing through my bank he AGREES and we get off the phone. If he would have cared to ask or do his job properly I could have put any deposit down or even paid for the car in cash if I knew he would be a liar and sell it behind my back. I spent the next 4 hours speaking to my bank and underwriter providing information to get approved all still assuming this dealership was respectable. I get approved as I knew I would for 3.7% interest and immediately call back since my bank needs to ask some title questions. I speak to another random rep (I'm guessing some random call center that log's and forwards calls since they no clue) she says her screen shows the car has been sold but wasn't sure if that was right and would have someone contact me back...I speak with Kolton he apologizes that it was in fact sold and has me setup to speak with Malik the next day. More wasted time on the phone Malik spends the call backpedaling saying they don't hold cars bla bla just lies and assures me he would call me back with a similar Tesla quoting specs of a car that costs 20k more than the one I was supposed to get. I call him back an hour later asking for his first and last name and to have the inquiries pulled from my credit he says absolutely and that he would call me back...At least he is a consistent liar. No calls back...I appreciate 3 days of my time wasted. My credit getting 7 inquiries from your website shotgunning credit asks and losing trust in what I assumed was a major dealership. I will be posting this to google reviews, dealerrater, Infinity directly, and internally at my work for all employees to stay away. More

In what we assumed was an impossible situation to get out of our previous lease, they were incredibly helpful in getting us into our new 2019 QX60. Great team and great people to work with. We won't hesitate to to recommend Motor Werks to all our friends and family. We will certainly be back for our next car as well. Great job guys! Brian and Debbie More
Wouldn't ever purchase from Motorwerks again I buy a new car about once every 2 years, between for my wife and myself, sometimes more. I've literally purchased dozens of cars over the years, at all types of dealerships. I purchased from independent dealers, and big luxury dealers. Motor Werks (Infinit) stands out as the worse. I first contacted them before making the >1hr drive out to make sure they had the vehicle I was interested in and ask a few questions. They were friendly, and gave me no reason not to go out. I made the hour plus drive out and met up with the salesman, Nathan. Shortly after, one of the managers met us in the lot, and informed me that they had just received the vehicle and hadn't reconditioned it. This was noteworthy, as the vehicle had multiple scratches and chips, including pretty severe front bumper damage and a large area of missing paint on the running board. I pointed all of this out immediately, and multiple times through the process. Each time they assured me it would all be taken care of. I voiced my pessimism, but was ultimately satisfied that they would honor their word. In hindsight, I should have been better clued in when I received a response of "Well, I mean, it is a used car" from Nathan. While it's true, it was also a 1.5 year old used car with a selling price well above most brand new cars on the U.S. market. Upon signing the final paperwork, I was presented with a paper to sign stating that they owed and promised nothing. There was not even a note about the paint, as we had discussed, nor mention of the cleaning they had never done. At my request, the vague note "Paint" was hand scrawled onto the form. Also at the final signing, we were "offered" extra coverages. I made it extremely clear from the onset that we were not even a little interested in any additional coverages. That didnt stop the explanation. The sales pitch went on for a minimum of 30 minutes, then presented again piece and parcel throughout the remainder of the process. It was painful how insistent he was that we just had to purchase something additional. So, finally, 5 hours later, we took the car home. I left on my business trip the next day. When I returned 5 days later, I called, as we had discussed, to make arrangements to drop off the car and pick up the rental. This is when i realized i had made a mistake. Their interest in pleasing the customer had already dropped by a factor of 10. Nathan, the salesman, did seem to want to help. However, "no rentals available" and "can you just come by and we'll do the work while you wait?" Is mostly what I was met with. I knew this work should take hours, so I knew they were already planning to cut corners. I had also mentioned to Nathan the Monday after the Saturday we purchased it that a speaker was blown and there were no headphones or remote for the entertainment center. He promised he'd take care of all of that, speaker being under warranty. Eventually, they agreed to bring a loaner to me the following Monday. At this point, we're 2 weeks post purchase. I was happy with the solution, unhappy it took so much effort and argument to get a solution. So, they pick up the car and bring it back 2 days later. They did an excellent job repairing the paint on the front bumper. The rest was mediocre or not done at all. This includes the running board with the large section of paint missing. I had mentioned this at the sale, and sent pictures, yet they didn't touch it. There are several scratches in the rear bumper and many other chips that went completely untouched. Speaker? Not replaced. Headphones? Nope. No remote either. Now I'm back on the phone with nathan, I started via text, which is mostly how we'd been communicating. Those started to be severely delayed or ignored completely. Over the course of many hours, nathan ended up telling me that he tried, but they won't do anything else. Not the speaker, not the running board, nothing. Completely and literally disgusted, I told him to send me a small bottle of touch up paint, along with the remote and headphones that were promised. He agreed. I did receive the items a few days later. The headphones and remote were old and not Infiniti branded. One headphone gives constant static, the other intermittent crackling. The speaker, still blown. I will never, absolutely ever, recommend any one to any motorwerks dealership. In fact, I've been asked already and highly recommended against. I'm happy that I've at least saved one friend who ended up elsewhere instead. He was very impressed with the whole experience there, as I've always been. 1 final comment. They had not paid off my trade in after 27 days, 7 days late than required by Illinois state law. I had to call, yet again, before they finally paid off my loan. Luckily, Infiniti finance understood the situation and allowed me an extra 5 days grace on my payment due while awaiting payment from Motorwerks. I've sent my contact info to Motorwerks, as requested, and have yet to hear from them. Will update accordingly if I do. More

The exceptional service I received from my sales person- Kash back in 2016 brought me back to this dealership. Kash was very accomodating, friendly, knowledgeable and personable then and he continues to display the same qualities today. If you ever find yourself in need of a car, not only should you head to Motor Werks of Barrington, you should ask for Kash. I should know, I'm a repeat customer. More
