I dropped my car off on a Thursday at 7am. My original plan was to wait on the vehicle, and I was told the work (mirror recall + roof crossbars) would take 2-3 hours. I called 2 days prior t My original plan was to wait on the vehicle, and I was told the work (mirror recall + roof crossbars) would take 2-3 hours. I called 2 days prior to check to make sure parts were in, and was given dates that both had arrived at the service center. My plans changed, and I spoke with the technician and requested to pick it up Friday AM instead. I was told this worked and went on my way. I arrived Friday around 8:30am to pick up my vehicle, and after 30 minutes learned that they had given away my mirrors to someone else and were still waiting on new mirrors to arrive. Despite having my car for 24 hours, they work was not complete and NO ONE CONTACTED ME. By this point my ride had long left, and I was given a rental vehicle (after waiting an additional 20 minutes). While I did appreciate the rental, a simple phone call to update me and let me know the vehicle was not ready (or better yet having the parts in as I had been assured they were) would have allowed me to make arrangements vs. rearranging my day to accommodate 2 trips to Motor Werks + extended wait time. They are an excellent dealer with a good team, but they have trouble connecting within their own team. On a recent service visit, on a brand new purchased vehicle, the service group turned off all my se have trouble connecting within their own team. On a recent service visit, on a brand new purchased vehicle, the service group turned off all my settings for parking safety. Annoying as I now have to figure out how to restore my settings. Then they sent me an automated query about whether I was happy with my service. I responded explaining my problem, and got a response instead asking if I’d like to sell my brand new car to them. The a day later they again messaged me to ask if I wanted to service my old car which I had sold when I purchased the new car. I explained that to them and was told that they would remove it from my file (which they have told me they’d do twice before). They can and should do much better at managing their internal groups. Service is very professional and associates are very courteous. The multiple checks done to the car provides peace of mind that the car is in optimal condition.
