I did dealer pricing on the internet and found that Motorwerks to have a price matching policy that makes it so much easier to purchase a new car without that haggling with a sales person. Our internet lady - Mackenzie Combs - made us feel at ease and was very helpful in delivering our new CR_V EX . She did a lot of paper work so we id not have to and the showed us all the gadgets and blue toothed my phone to the car!. Dealer phoned me and I was very direct with what I was looking for on a lease quote. They phoned back with an insulting offer that really ticked me off. I had to play games on the phone with several people before I finally got a straight shooter - Aaron. He gave me the deal I was looking for on my lease with 100% transparency - no games. Kim in finance was quick and efficient with the financing portion and was also a straight shooter. I would say in general that this dealership could improve on how they deal with repeat customers - especially ones that are re-upping on a lease of essentially the same car. After the first lease rate quote, I felt like I was treated like someone off the street who was completely unfamiliar with the car leasing process. More

This so called "Elite" has truly lowered its standards After reading all of the positive reviews on here about Shawn Hassan I felt obligated to share my recent experience with him that was far from pleasan After reading all of the positive reviews on here about Shawn Hassan I felt obligated to share my recent experience with him that was far from pleasant. My wife and I called MotorWerks of Barrington to inquire about a new Honda that was advertised on their website without any pictures. The person who answered the phone directed us to come in "Immediately" (Very pushy) and insisted that we meet with a salesman named Shawn. So we reluctantly drove out that evening and after finding and entering the Honda building we were immediately greeted by a salesman who asked if he could help us. We told him we were there to meet with Shawn and he said he would find him and let him know we were waiting. After about ten minutes of waiting around we were finally greeted by Shawn who seemed flustered and rushed. He told us that he was currently helping some other people and would be with us "very soon." Then he went back to his desk and continued to work with some other people while we just stood there in the showroom. After ten more minutes we asked another salesman who was not with customers if he could help us and he immediately apologized for us having to wait and he went to speak with Shawn. We could see that Shawn became irritated with the salesman as he began to waive his finger in his face while shaking his head. Then Shawn made eye contact with my while holding up the same finger and said "One minute please." Then we noticed that an Asian salesman was also speaking / laughing with Shawn's customers while Shawn just stood there smiling. At this point I told my wife i had enough and we decided to leave. It was obvious that Mr. Shawn thought it was a better idea to inconvenience us rather than allow a colleague to help out (must be a commission thing). This behavior is no different then what goes on at other dealerships and it's ashaim that it's now happening at a dealer that prides itself on being "Elite." After leaving, my wife and I proceeded to purchase a pre-owned car from Carmax where we originally wanted to go. We just figured MotorWerks would be different but we were proven wrong. I have been in sales my entire professional life and can tell you that behavior like this (competitive money-motivated mindset) will always overshadow customer treatment and satisfaction. It's very contagious and will ruin the established reputation that MotorWerks is known for. More

Even I researched A LOT and knew exactly what I want, they just kept pushing me to buy what they wanted to sell. This place was totally different. When I told Shawn, I know exactly what I want and how much I want to pay, we went over few thing and he just said 'OK, let me talk to manager'. They came back the best offer they could make and I was either take it or leave. It was very simple. Nothing like "options are already installed" or "you just pay $5/mon extra, what's the problem?". The funny thing was the discount I got was few hundred dollars less than the other dealer, but final balance to pay was few thousand dollars less than the other dealer. Simple car buying experience. Honest dealer that you can trust. Finally. More
