Before we make the change, the new service team rebuilt the service quality. Since then, Ross Wear is our service advisor. He is awesome. Our family's safety depends on the reliable vehicle. Every time I bring the vehicle back for service, I feel my car is on the safe hand. There are other famous brand of vehicle out there. It's not exaggerated, we keep using Caddy because of the fantastic service team. More
Excellent service for my 10 year old Cadillac. I have been driving for over 50 years and have experienced every level of motor vehicle service from unacceptable to exceptional. I am very pleased I have been driving for over 50 years and have experienced every level of motor vehicle service from unacceptable to exceptional. I am very pleased to state that I continue to receive exceptional service from Adam Weller and Ross Wear. But more than their exceptional service is their professionalism as evidenced by their "doing the right thing". Previously I had noticed that there was water in the trunk of my Cadillac and brought it in for the correction of that problem. I paid the bill and thought that the matter had been resolved. However, it became evident that the problem had not been corrected because there continued to be water in the trunk. Their professionalism became readily apparent by their testing and re-testing each possible cause for the leak for over 1 week during which time I was provided with a new Cadillac loaner for my use. When I arrived to collect my vehicle Adam and Ross explained in detail, every action that was taken to remedy the leak problem. It was obvious that much thought, time and effort had been expended on my behalf. When presented with the statement for the services rendered it was $0. They stated to me that they endeavor to "to do the right thing" for their customers and that the leak problem should have been corrected the first time I was there. However, they used the wrong word when they characterized me as their "customer". More aptly and justifiably, they should have referred to me as their "client" because of the professionalism which was demonstrated to me by Adam and Ross. Please be assured that I will continue to have my Cadillac serviced by Motor Werks Cadillac of Barrington, at least for so long as Adam and Ross are there. Credit where credit is due and Congratulations on a job well done. More

Warranty work honored Frank and Marty took great care to be sure that my vehicle, which was certified pre owned by them in 2016 was repaired. I needed shocks and dealer in Frank and Marty took great care to be sure that my vehicle, which was certified pre owned by them in 2016 was repaired. Great Service Department !!! I recently brought my car in for a pretty simple fix which was covered under warranty. I could not be more pleased with this service department - both Ross (Service Writer) & Marty (Service Manager). They earned my service business going forward and will buy my next Cadillac from them. Terrible Communicarions The first visit was to replace the driver side mirror. They were to check on parts and pricing and call. 2 weeks went by ... no call ... went elsewher The first visit was to replace the driver side mirror. They were to check on parts and pricing and call. 2 weeks went by ... no call ... went elsewhere and it was fixed the same day. A few weeks later I had the radio replaced. It worked 2 days and went dead. I took it in and they were going to call me in a few days to let me know when to bring it in for replacement. 2 weeks have passed... no call .... seems like a repeat of the mirror repair. I have a disagreement on a warranty issue. The service guy said he would have the sales manager call me ... no call ... I stopped to see the sales manager, he was busy with a customer but said he would call. Never happened. This seems to be a Cadallic Barrington problem. I have a Mercedes Benz and have had good results with service at the Werks South Barrington location. I have been a customer 35 years and can not wait to get the radio fixed and wave good-bye. More

Motor Werks Cadillac is the only Cadillac Dealership that has provided me with consistent excellent service and maintenance for my 2014 XTS Livery Edi Motor Werks Cadillac is the only Cadillac Dealership that has provided me with consistent excellent service and maintenance for my 2014 XTS Livery Edition sedan. Ross, the Service Advisor is the best, he is always consistent with appointments, parts, and scheduling; also, the paperwork is processed quickly without having to wait forever. Doug the Service Manager is always there to make sure warranty issues are covered, and it all works well. Tim the Mechanic is the Best, whatever he repairs is done right the first time and he is great at diagnosing problem. Tim replaced my Magnetic ride Strut. I have no relation to this dealership or the people there, but it's true they are the best. If you want it done right, go to Cadillac Motor Werks! Thank you, Demetrios More

Cadillac Service gone to xxxx I have dealt with these people for 30 years back to the Mancuso Cadillac days, bought several Caddy's and always had them service my cars. Up until recently, the service was great, they had the BEST service manager on this planet, great service writers , mechanics. and sales staff. Today, all the good people who built this business ARE GONE and service is not acceptable or honest, prices have jumped, and analysis of work needed erroneous and dishonest....AND you now talk to a call center to schedule service, not the service writer, call center personal don't have a clue about automotive repair. I got bounced back and forth several times before I finally said let me talk to the service manager.. Got his voice mail, but at least he called me back. Their attitude was good, friendly and I thought OK, I'll give the newbie's a chance, I got my oil changed and an estimate on other work needed, upon reviewing it I felt I needed a second opinion, got one from another garage, had work done, and finally concluded something not very good was going on at MW's of Barrington, and I became VERY upset that my favorite dealer of 30 years has apparently adapted a new business plan which to me is unacceptable and not ethical. I hope the owner gets a handle on this and corrects the problems. Until then I'll support independent family owned and operated automotive businesses. who have their thumb on the pulse of their business.. More
