Transmissions need oil. So I purchased a car here a few months back... figure it's worth a review now. I was promised maintenance folder on car after purchase as I was told So I purchased a car here a few months back... figure it's worth a review now. I was promised maintenance folder on car after purchase as I was told some rather extensive refurbishment work took place. It was never delivered despite calling back several times. Did hear a MPH dependent noise while test driving, figured it was the tires... purchased the car. Immediate issues where constant overheating, which turned out to be a loose ground to the fan... c'mon, tighten 1 nut and it's fixed...instead it was the wrong size nut put on the ground wire (good job guys) . A few days after purchase the plastic coolant return split on the seam and had to be replaced to keep from loosing all of its coolant. But back to the MPH dependent noise.... It turns out the manual transmission had about 1/4 of a cup of fluid in it... I guess it's a good thing there's a 100,000 mile power train warranty because that transmission is hosed. More
