TLDR: Great Experience at Motor Mile KIA and with my service person Stacey. I was on a roadtrip and had a headlight go out. Surprising to me was this was no longer replaceable without a service visi service person Stacey. I was on a roadtrip and had a headlight go out. Surprising to me was this was no longer replaceable without a service visit. With the days so short this was going to greatly impact my multi-day trip - stopping before dark or operating my vehicle in an unsafe manner. My local dealer had no appointments available and was too busy to take me as a walk-in. I made a list of the six KIA dealerships along my 13-hour route. I made plans to stop short of my destination if I did not get a new headlight. I tried every Service center on my route in the order that I would reach them. Number four was the charm. The other three were too busy or could't be bothered to help. Motor Mile KIA was set up to help folks by having an Express Care line that was specifically for walk-ins who couldn't wait days or weeks for an appointment. You just drove up and they helped you in the order you arrived. For me, they had me checked in in 5 minutes and out in an hour. I thought it was going to cost me a bunch and was prepared for a possibly exorbitant bill. Nope. It cost me only $25. I was back on the road and I made it to my original destination. I'm so disappointed and dissatisfied with this last service on my car. A 2017 KIA with only 108 000 miles and something bad happened to motor. They say it's not under warranty but could they have not a service on my car. A 2017 KIA with only 108 000 miles and something bad happened to motor. They say it's not under warranty but could they have not at least called the KIA company to ask if they could offer any help? They didn't offer anything to help. The extended warranty is only 500 miles over. ??? More
