I had an appointment at 1:15 for my car service on Friday, August 9. I arrived early and both lines were packed! I wasn’t seen by anyone until about 45 minutes!! I asked if all the cars ahead of mine had appointments and was told No! My car was washed, but wasn’t ready until almost 4 pm! Then no one could find my keys! A nice lady I had not seen before handed me my car keys! Then someone parked my car between 2 other cars! More
I had Brandon Hong help me & he was exceptional. He dealt with my warranty company which was a difficult task. He answered all my many phone calls and kept in constant contact with the adjuster. My vehicle was done very quickly, but my warranty company took an extremely long time to authorize the amount they would pay. I always use Motor City and would be happy to deal with Brandon the next time I need service. More
I took my car in knowing what was wrong with car. Told them what was wrong but had to wait a week for them to tell me exactly what I told them what was wrong. As a dealer it should not have taken 3 weeks for parts. What they need to have a better scheduling system so you don't bring your car in until they can actually check the car. Only good part was I did purchase an extended warranty so all I had to pay was a $100. This is why I get most of my car repaires done at firestone even if my warranty might have paid for it. More

Even if you book an appointment for first thing in the morning, be prepared for a long wait. It’s disturbing the amount of GMC vehicles that are in need of repair. The electrical department is consistently booking at least two weeks out and will most likely keep your vehicle for at least week. During that time, it will sit for days before they get to it. If you need a loaner…good luck. Because of the high amounts of vehicles being serviced, there aren’t loaners available most of the time. DO NOT RENT YOUR ON CAR! My “advisor” told me I could rent a car and my warranty would cover it. What he failed to mention was the all the catch 22s involved. I turned it my receipts to my “advisor” and for 2 MONTHS he lied about submitting my reimbursements. He even went as far as to place follow up calls to me regarding the status KNOWING he never submitted anything. I finally went to the stealership to find out what was going on and that’s when I learned that he hadn’t done anything. The clerk then told me that I would likely get a fraction of what I paid out but to call GM for a better resolution. GM informed me that they won’t take action because the reimbursements are past 30 days. I called and left a message for the COO and GM and never received a call back. GM has filed a dealer complaint and they still haven’t responded. I’d never buy another vehicle that has to be serviced by this dealership! More
Very disappointed in their follow-up (lack of follow-up) on issues related to a car they sold me. There are dealerships in Bakersfield where they will not lie to you, I suggest you go to those rather than on issues related to a car they sold me. Recommend you avoid dealing with either Christian or Mark, as these two sales people did not keep their committment to me or my son. More
