Air Conditioning Repair My car was under warranty so there was no charge. for the repair (other than the cost of a rental). However, it took 3 attempts (and a week and a half My car was under warranty so there was no charge. for the repair (other than the cost of a rental). However, it took 3 attempts (and a week and a half) to fix my car which I feel is unreasonable. The air conditioning system was not working properly, I took it in, they called me and said it was fixed (new replacement parts) and the air conditioning stopped working in less than 24 hours. So I brought it in again, they said the new part was cracked and had to order another new part, they called me and said it was fixed and working well. This time, the air stopped within 1 hour! Plus, they had to remove my dashboard in order to do the repair and replaced the dashboard along with my GPS cord trapped behind it with only a small piece sticking out. Then the third time, they said it was because they had failed to properly hook up the parts to allow the air to run cold. Plus, when I got into my car, which is always kept immaculately clean, there was an empty water bottle left in the front seat. I also have a concern with having to rent cars (out of pocket expenses) when it was a problem covered by the warranty. You should offer a rental at no charge like many other dealerships do. PLUS, when I returned the rental car, I was required to return it with the same amount of fuel as I had received it. When I took my car in to be worked on, it had over a half of a tank of gas in it and when I picked it up, it was on “reserve”. I don’t think that’s very good business. I’ve had my car back less than 24 hours but so far the air is working well. On a lighter note, I’d like to acknowledge Alicia Sowards (Service Advisor). She really needs to be commended for the GREAT job she is doing. She was friendly, very knowledgeable and always kept me informed of what was going on. Very receptive to ALL my concerns. She is a great “people person” and a true asset to your company. More
