Rip off team was lied to about my apr rate. They told me higher and got me to agree to a price point, and then used the 6% that they lied about and applied that a was lied to about my apr rate. They told me higher and got me to agree to a price point, and then used the 6% that they lied about and applied that amount towards 'optional' warranties that i did not agree to. They never disclosed the final amount of the vehicle, and they changed the term on me without notifying me from 60 to 72 months just by using the amount i was able to pay. They forced me into the transaction by limiting me to 5 mins for a special deal they contacted the general manager about 3 times and said they might even get fired. The 'sales manager' even said that i could refinance with them in 6 months, but i learned that isnt possible. They also made me the co-buyer when i am the primary buyer with a co-signer. They did not notify me of this and just rushed me to sign after taking 2 hours of optional fees that they did not explain. We explained to them we did not want or have money for optional extended warranties and thought we made it clear, but they added it without telling us or explaining anything. They just fit my price point for 60 months, but added another year and left the price point the same. A lot more happened, but i just want help with this because this is a normal thing at the mossy ford location in mission bay/ pacific beach. I did read the yelp reviews till i was a victim of their scams and hidden fees. This first vehicle purchase is a complete nightmare and i fill mistreated. This is fraud inducement This is what I wrote to them and they have not replied. I am extremely dissatisfied with a purchase i recently made at your location. The "sales manager" who assisted me was far from helpful and did not distribute any customer service, but distributed lots of hate towards me. I did purchase a car i am satisfied with, but i am dissatisfied with the way your salesman made the sale and all the additional charges that were added that i did not realize till after i left. I was interested in a vehicle i looked at the day before and the price wasnt right. We were unable to agree on a price so i left, and the next day i received multiple calls claiming you (the company) would get to my asking price. That did not happen, but i was okay with a price that was close and fair for both of us considering the KBB value of the vehicle. The salesman claimed to have called his GM 3 times and that he would probably get fired for this deal, and that he shouldnt be doing this. I thought it was fair, but it wasnt. What he did was price point me to an estimated amount that i could pay, and then lied about the apr rate in order to add warranties and other optional fees that were not brought up to me. He made a fake apr rate, and price. He said i only had 5 mins to make the decisions or else the deal would be no longer available, he never discussed the warranties, and other options he added. He lied to me about the terms. Also made me the co-buyer when i was the buyer and just had a cosigner to make it work in his favor. He disrespected me, talked about his "amazing credit score, the new car he bought his Daughter that shes not happy with, the place he lives in, the car he paid cash for, he flirted with my mother, while her husband was outside looking at the car, and more. I read reviews after i made my purchase on yelp and realized this is a typical thing for your location. Im not sure if you're familiar with the reviews. He also tried to talk me out of buying the car because since its used people farted in it....... it is not my fault i dont have money to buy a new vehicle nor should it be his concern what i buy because he should just be assisting me in having an amazing sales experience. I spent more hours at your location then some of your workers. A lot of them just sitting on their phones and laughing. I have never been so manipulated and mistreated in my life. I was forced into something and rushed because they were closing soon. The sales manager even tried to lie about the closing time just to make the sale. He also made a fake sales paper with apr rate price of vehicle etc. I requested to have it and come back before they close and he told me i was not allowed to and wrote it on the back of scratch paper. I should've been smarter and not so naive, but you would think the company actually cares about their company. He even kept telling me if i buy a ford from somewhere else he will make sure they dont service or help me at HIS location. Is that even possible to discriminate someone based upon where they purchased their car ? I am going to proceed and make the necessary actions in order to resolve my problems. I am interested in the car, but not the optional fees that they added and did not discuss with me. They got passed me because the rushing and making sure it was at my price point by lying about the apr rate and adding 6% of optional fees. They told my parents and i that the apr rate was 10% when it was actually 3.99%. I hope you dont encourage this activity or type of sales. I understand they work upon commission, but do they no longer care about customer relations. All i ask is that the optional fees that i did not agree to or that were never addressed to be removed. If you have any questions please contact me, but i will be submitting more formal complaints. Thank you for your time. More

Beyond that, he took very good care of me in dealing with the paper work and made it an easy process. He also helped my parents find a mustang they liked and they have nothing but good things to say as well. Highly recommend, if your looking for a ford, look for Jimmy! More
Attempted rip off made appointment and took truck in for Driver side Blendor issue. Had declined their offer on line service appt site recommendation for full tune-up. made appointment and took truck in for Driver side Blendor issue. Had declined their offer on line service appt site recommendation for full tune-up. Was called to confirm that I requested a PASSENGER side Blendor repair as well as a full Tune. ( They had done it 2000 miles ago. Do they keep records??) Then, i was charged $135 diagnostic fee to tell me that it would cost $1200 to do a repair that I had previously had done at a Ford dealer in Colorado on the PASSENGER side for $500! More
The worst experience of my life 1. Mossy Ford will take advantage of you on a trade in. - They failed to pay off my car within the legally stipulated time frame and SOLD it to some o 1. Mossy Ford will take advantage of you on a trade in. - They failed to pay off my car within the legally stipulated time frame and SOLD it to some one else who racked up in excess of 500 miles on a car I was STILL paying for! They broke TWO laws, not paying a car off within 21 calendar days AND selling a car they don't hold legal possession of. 2. Mossy Ford will take advantage of you on financing. - They will promise better interest rates than what you've received at your bank, show you a letter of approval and write their finance contract as such, but call you several weeks later and demand a much larger down payment or threaten to repossess the car because the bank "changed their mind". This is known as the spot delivery scam. They feed you whatever lies they can to get you to sign the contract and if they don't like their terms, or the sales manager decides they need to make more money, you get this very fun call. 3. Mossy Ford will take advantage of with buying a used car and Falsify Carfax Reports. - Never trust this place. After trading in my vehicle (that they never paid off, by the way), they doctored the CarFax report! They added multiple entries to the Carfax that were NOT true including false service records. If you go to Mossy, you will end up with a car that was never actually taken care of as they advertise and made the Carfax to claim. 4. Mossy Ford will lie to you. - Because of this wretched experience, I demanded we unwind the deal (This is how I learned they sold my trade in prior to paying it off) and told me their car was at first in a "storage facility" in National City. Then it was at an "Auction" in Riverside the next day. When I got my car back, it smelled like old lady perfume and had a bouquet of flowers in the trunk. Im not joking. Imagine buying a car from them they don't own, that poor lady! 5. Mossy Ford will RUIN YOUR CREDIT. - During this nightmare, Mossy Ford added 12, yes TWELVE HARD INQUIRIES on my credit. My credit is useless now. I traded in my car that was financed. I had purchased this car about a year and a half prior from Carmax with their extended warranty. They assured me that the car would be paid off within 10 days. California law dictates they have 21 calendar days to furnish payoff. 32 DAYS AFTER I traded my car in, it STILL wasn't paid off. I was looking at paying two car payments as to not ruin my credit- on a car I no longer had and a car I just acquired. I kept getting passed around each time I called and they just kept saying they were "very busy" (quite rudely, I might add) when I finally got some one and that the check would be sent very soon. Lest I forget, when trading in my car, the advised me to call Carmax and cancel my extended warranty to get a refund. I did so. The refund went straight to Wells Fargo and now the car that I am stuck with no longer has a warranty. And apparently, per Carmax, there's no getting it back. Very close to 30 days later, there was still no pay off and Wells Fargo, my bank, had no contact with Mossy. I made the payment and visited Mossy. I was introduced to the finance manager who told me the financing fell through and that they needed more money as a down payment. I read the contract and I know laws as it pertains to dealerships. They only have 10 Days, per the contract, to cancel the transaction if financing fails. We were into our 32nd day. I pointed this out and refused to pay more. That's when the finance manager got mad. She said "No, we sent you a letter. We can cancel." I asked her for a copy of the letter. She did not have it at first, or didn't want to show me. I asked her to see the letter of Denial, she did not have it, or did not want to show me. After back and forth, she finally gave me the letter of request to cancel due to failed financing. Jokes on her- it was dated THAT DAY, the 32nd day. I asked her for a post dated receipt, or envelope. Because It was never received at my residence. She gave me a Certified Mail tracking number. Not active, not sent. To save myself aggravation, I told her I'd see what I could do and come back the next day. I went back the next day, demanded the sales manager, and told him I didn't want to pay any more money and that they can keep the car, and to give me my trade back. David, the sales manager, tells me to not worry about it, keep the car, they'll be sure the financing goes through, that I wont owe any more money. TWELVE INQUIRES AND ONE DAY LATER. I go back and I tell David that I just dont want to deal with this, take the car back, give me my down payment and my trade and I'll move on with my life. He said hang on, that he'd go get the car. 20 Minutes later, I was asked to step out of the finance office. The door was shut, and though the door, I heard the sales man say "they sold his car", and the finance manager scream some expletives. I dont have enough room for the rest, but you get the idea. Ford Corporate, the DMV and Carfax will be hearing from me about this for sure. More

I bought a brand new Ford Fiesta and it does not function. I was told by the dealership my car would "never be fixed" and just to "keep bringing it in". Even though every time I bring it in nothing is done. The car still isn't running properly. I've had my car looked at several times and they all say it's a defective transmission but nothing is going to be done about it. I tried to bring the car back and they won't take it back. I will never buy a ford ever again. They will keep taking my payment every month but I won't have a car. Is that fair? More

The best in customer service First off our sales Rep was awesome. We pulled up not completely sure if we would be buying a car or not. From the moment we pulled in Kalvika ahquin First off our sales Rep was awesome. We pulled up not completely sure if we would be buying a car or not. From the moment we pulled in Kalvika ahquin came right to our service promptly, even before i had the chance to speak to the gentleman at the front desk. The service and customer care he provided was excellent and top of the line. Exactly how a car dealership should be. The attention to detail and our individual customer needs he provided made us feel like we were buying a 90,000$ car from ford. There was no discrimination or lack of interest as would be with many other dealerships. The entire time he walked us through every step and if we did not understand something he made sure we knew exactly what our options were at every step of the way. I mean we came in around 10:30am and we ended up leaving around 2:30. it was a very, comfortable feeling and the people over at mossy ford are very welcoming. We ended up buying a 2012 mercedes Benz c250. Overall great experience will be purchasing my next vehicle here for future visit. Recommended to anyone who loves diversity and feeling welcomed & part of the team. Tyler S Pleasant, More

The sales people are always top notch, finance went out of their way and found an even better rate and service took care in helping with any question I had. I used their website for research and found the service was equal as if I was standing in the showroom. They took in my trade in accordance to their website and the outcome was righteous. My compliments to Mossy Ford and I'm looking forward to my next Mustang in a few years or sooner if possible. (Special thanks to Paulette Beach who walked the entire site quite a few times for me.) Lastly the parts department special ordered a few items for me and had them in 3 days and not the expected 14 days. (thanks) More

I built it on-line and then was referred to Mossy's Internet sales contact, Paulette Beach. She was great to work with. We went over my choice of options, reviewed inventory throughout the region, discussed the process of having the car built, and went over the financing options. I appreciated the professionalism all around. I am now pretty familiar with members of the sales staff and of the service staff, and I highly recommend the individuals and the dealership as a whole. My car is fantastic. More
