Everything the movies depict car sales people to be like happened; they were pushy and treated me as if I was stupid. I walked away frustrated and feeling "dirty" by the pushy nature of the dealership. When I went to Zeck, I was still nervous as I walked in but everything changed as the friendly staff greeted my father and I with a laid back chill. Brendan Dow was incredible, he answered all of my first time car buyer questions with candor and useful information without making me feel stupid. He treated me as important and directed comments to me, even though my father had accompanied me to look at the cars. I had done my financial homework and found outside options that worked for me but Zeck was able to offer me a better deal. Carlos was extremely helpful in answering all my questions in relation to financing with Zeck. It was easy! As I drove home in my new Ford Escape, I was so blessed by the easy and efficient experience I had at Zeck Ford! He was patient, helpful, understanding, accommodating, thoughtful and more a Brendan provided a great experience for my daughter buying her first car. He was patient, helpful, understanding, accommodating, thoughtful and more a friendly enabler than we anticipated. While the price, which is fair, is the price, the experience is like no other dealership I have had. No back and forth, grind you up, make you feel cheap, intimidate you into submission over their inflated price. It was pleasant. Only thing that took time is getting the financing worked out. Carlos was very thorough at closing though. She drove it home bubbling with satisfaction and pride in her new ride. I drove home amazed it had been such an enjoyable experience, much different than I had prepared her for. My advice is to find the car you like online, give Brendan a call, test drive it and then buy it if it drives well. You know the price you'll pay before you see the car so if you like the car he will make it happen for you. Then you can drive home with a strange feeling of not only having the car you wanted but getting it like shopping at a discount store where you get a great deal without the mall hassle.
