As soon as I walked in he knew what 'bells and whistles' I was looking for in a vehicle, and knew he wasn't going to have it on the lot before I even said a word. I gave him a list of must haves and some preferences. He searched high and low to find me the vehicle I wanted and he did! He is such a pleasure to work with. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful. I needed to pick up my vehicle on a certain day, and that was Ryan's day off as well as the Steve's (the finance man!). However, Ryan came in to ensure we were taken care of and someone stepped in for Steve to ensure the paperwork was ready too. I will definitely go back when we are looking for another vehicle for anyone in our family! Kudos to the Brenengen 'family' for their customer service! More

Fairest treatment by service department of any dealership! We had a very difficult problem with our Sorento this time around. It was intermittent and sometimes wouldn't show itself for many miles of driving. After trying twice, unsuccessfully to correct the problem for a month (for close to $1000 in parts and labor), the service manager and I decided that the best course of action would be for them to keep the car and drive it periodically to try and diagnose the problem. This took about six weeks, during which we were provided a late-model loaner at no cost. When the problem was finally resolved by replacing the alternator, the car was returned to us, freshly detailed, and with no further charges to us. Count me in as a "Customer For Life" at Brenengen Kia! My sister was so impressed she came in and bought late model used car later that week! Seven cars bought at Brenengen and counting! More
I purchased a vehicle from this dealership (under warranty) and had to return to have it serviced numerous times (over a dozen times). Almost every single time I took the vehicle in for service, I wo warranty) and had to return to have it serviced numerous times (over a dozen times). Almost every single time I took the vehicle in for service, I would get the vehicle back with the same problem plus additional problems after they supposedly serviced the vehicle. (sabotage). After this had happened several times, I tried to mediate with the owner of the dealership (Don Brenengen) with no resolution to the problems I was having with the service department. He chuckled and said "Kinda funny how you're having all these problems with your vehicle" and offered me $75 after they had done an unauthorized brake job and charged me big money for unnecessary work that had nothing to do with the symptoms reported to the service department at that visit. (When i went to pick up my vehicle this time, Tim Dvorak - Service Consultant, threatened to keep my vehicle if I didn't sign the service order. I signed it "under protest - unauthorized work" and signed the check the same in the memo section). I also found (after owning the vehicle for a couple years) that the vehicle had previously been hail damaged, although no one had ever told me that prior to the initial transaction (Chad Long - Salesperson) and when I had noticed a dent in the rear door a few days after purchasing the vehicle, They lied to me and said it was an inherent problem with the specific model I had purchased and they would not be able to have it fixed. On my first visit for service to the vehicle (a couple days after initial purchase), they swapped out parts from another older vehicle they had on the lot with my good parts. I seen them do this, and questioned them about this and was told they were just trying to figure out what the problem was and that they would put my parts back. Come to find out, every time I took my car in for service, they were stealing good parts off my car and replacing them with defective parts (most likely from an employees vehicle). They swapped out my perfectly good tires for another set, to try to track down a shake problem in the front end that they had created, only so they could attempt to steal my perfectly good rims and replace them with bad rims. I caught them at this and got them to give my rims back (Dave Prendergast - General Manager, was who I dealt with on this attempted theft - he told me that they were working on a like vehicle and accidentally mixed up the wheels - I believed him - shame on me) they still kept my perfectly good Kuhmo tires - and state that they "went the extra mile by giving me "new" tires. When I asked for the paperwork that time, Dave Prendergast said the service department was closed (during service hours) and I really didnt need any paperworks since everything was covered under the warranty (this was only 2 months after my initial purchase). After talking to Mr. Don Brenengen again. He assured me that they would take care of the problems. I really feel stupid for going back as the last time I went back for a simple oil change and an ESP sensor problem. They kept my car for almost a month. during that time my warranty had ran out. I got my car back to find they had swapped out my tires (including the spare), wheels, brakes, calipers, lower control arms, battery, heated leather seats, the ignition switch, interior rear view mirror, floor mats, and many other parts. I am at this time seeking legal counsel to press felony charges against all involved as I do have proof of unauthorized theft of parts. Heres the kicker people. I turned this in to West Salem Police Department (who refused to even look at my car and gave the excuse "we're not mechanics") and they only talked to one person at the dealership (the service manager - Joe Kazynski) and said case closed, that my story doesn't match the service managers. so it'a a civil matter. Seems to me that money talks in West Salem, Wisconsin. Don Brenengen has been known to contribute money to the village for certain charitable endevours, including things directly related to the police department. I now do not trust anyone anymore. I have not been able to drive the vehicle since getting it back as I find it unsafe to drive and am waiting to find an honest investagator/agency to investagate. Please learn from my stupid trustfulness and do not deal with these crooks. According to Kia Corporate, The dealership was done with all warranty work several weeks before they called me to tell me the vehicle was ready. during this time they sabotaged my vehicle and stole my car parts.
