As a first time car buyer, I had the worst experience buying my car here. My sales associate, Eleanor was friendly, and also fairly new to selling. On 6/25/21, I purchased my 2021 Subaru Cross trek Sp buying my car here. My sales associate, Eleanor was friendly, and also fairly new to selling. On 6/25/21, I purchased my 2021 Subaru Cross trek Sports Edition. However, I was unable to bring my car home since the dealership did not receive funds from my bank yet. Accordingly to Jon, finance director, this was part of their policy. This process was clearly NOT explained to me prior to filling out paperwork with the finance team. The finance team told me they had worked with my bank before, and would take about 1-2 business days to complete the process. Since it was after 5PM when I finished all paperwork, it was not immediately received by my bank. After already filling out the paperwork, the finance team told me because funds were not received, the car cannot leave the lot. They immediately blamed Eleanor for not clarifying everything. This was very unprofessional, as they should of took responsibility for failing to discuss the entire buying process with me. What really upset me was seeing everyone so quick to have me buy the car, complete all required documents, just to tell me I cannot drive the car home. 6/29/21 I finally called my bank to see why funds were not wired to the dealership yet. My bank notified me the paperwork were barely received and will take 24-48 hours to processed the funds over. Throughout this entire process, I kept emailing Eleanor about updates on receiving the funds. I openly told Eleanor I am unhappy about the entire process and would like her and her team address it. I basically just want to drive my car home by now. One of the finance member, Teresa reached out to me, only to tell me the same thing-waiting on funds. I gave it couple more days to see if the funds would go through. 7/06/21 At this point, I tried calling the General Manager to address my concerns but the number listed on the email I got was a non-working number. I am really frustrated, because I still cannot bring the car I bought for one week now, home. I called the Morrie Minnetonka Subaru number and was referred to other financial advisors, but the calls were all forwarded to voicemail. After several attempts, I was finally able to get a hold of Christen, who finally listened to my concerns as I was pretty much done with dealing with everyone at Morrie Minnetonka Subaru. Christen offered to follow up with the financial advisor and told me she will call me back about the funds. She called me back 5 minutes later and told me funds were still not received but will call me first thing in the morning to check again. 7/07/21 Christen finally called me back to let me know that the funds were received. It literally took one week and half later, for me to be able to drive my car out of the lot. What should have been an easy buying process became very complicated. I hope NO ONE has to go through what I went through in buying their first car with Morrie Minnetonka Subaru. More

Chris said he could find us a 2021 Forester Sport, and luck was on our side as he delivered! He and I had great communication throughout the couple days of searching. We drove from Wisconsin because this dealer was one of the only dealers in the western Great Lakes region who had the capacity to find us a vehicle, and the lifetime power train warranty. Great staff like Chris, and Brian in the finance office really help. These guys stayed after closings to help us out. Well worth the drive. More

They have a great team working at Morrie’s. I bought two cars - one they had to get from Sioux Falls and the other they had to get from another dealer in town. I went to another dealer to look at Honda’s an cars - one they had to get from Sioux Falls and the other they had to get from another dealer in town. I went to another dealer to look at Honda’s and they did nothing to find a car I’d like. Hani and team went out of their way to find exactly what we were looking for. I wasn’t planning on buying a second Subaru but they sold me on a great car. More
