Went in for oil change, tire rotation and to remove nail from tire. Went to pick up car and noticed that tires had not been rotated. I had marked the tire that had the nail and it was still in the same s from tire. Went to pick up car and noticed that tires had not been rotated. I had marked the tire that had the nail and it was still in the same spot. Service manager claimed tires had been rotated because "it said so on the service ticket." After explaining how I knew it had not been done he went to the service tech who admitted to not doing that job. They immediately brought the car back in and rotated the tires. I asked why the service receipt said "tires rotated" even though they were not and he said this is "automatically filled in" when he makes the request. What kind of quality control is that? How do I know they did the oil change? They didn't even offer to remove the tire rotation cost from the bill but offered me a free oil change next time...like I want to go back there? More
As mentioned by others before, it's really a sham to hear the xxxxxxxxx of buying happiness experience.. come on! there is no negotiation space, and the price is terribly high, comparing to other quotes. D the xxxxxxxxx of buying happiness experience.. come on! there is no negotiation space, and the price is terribly high, comparing to other quotes. Don't know why the dealers in MN are so bad. More
Morrie's Buy Happy 'motto' is a sham. All that means is you are left with no position to negotiate. And even if you try to, good luck. They'll claim all the service that comes with Morrie's, but who really you are left with no position to negotiate. And even if you try to, good luck. They'll claim all the service that comes with Morrie's, but who really wants to pay for 'extended waranty'? They even tried to charge me for bringing the car from Iowa!! And would not budge. Neither did I, I walked off in a huff even though I had almost agreed on the price of the car. Their inventory was poor too. I was looking for a 2009 Mazda6. More
Let me start by saying that this IS how car buying should be. Everyone was friendly, curteous, and we're not hesitent to answer questions or help in any way. The test drive was so much fun. I was taken be. Everyone was friendly, curteous, and we're not hesitent to answer questions or help in any way. The test drive was so much fun. I was taken on a pre-determined route which really showed the car's potential. Of course I was also offered to drive anywhere I'd like if I wanted. There was never a pushy moment, just a lot of listening to what I needed. I felt that my salesperson was actually very concerned about selling me exactly and only what I wanted. The internet sales staff I dealt with were efficient, experienced, and made me feel that I bought from the right dealership. I would recommend Morrie's Mazda to everyone! More
They slipped me a longer lease than I expressely told them I wanted: I expressly indicated I wanted 36 month no more. They came back with a lower payment after some negotiation but never indicated to them I wanted: I expressly indicated I wanted 36 month no more. They came back with a lower payment after some negotiation but never indicated to me that they had lengthened the lease. I didn't read the fine print assuming they were giving me what I had told them I wanted many times. I didn't find out until the 36th month that it was a 42 not 36 month. My fault for not reading the fine print. Their fault for being sneaky. They banged up my car and blamed me for it: I went in to pick up my car after a repair, I walked out, found damage to my car and returned immediately. I never even got into the car. I talked to a service writer and she indicated I would have to come back on a weekday to talk to a manager. I made an apointment after I got a written statement saying they did the damage from the service writer. I returned to talk to the manager and he basically told me that I couldn't prove that they had done the damage and that It was probably my fault. I finally got them to paint the car and when I went to pick it up it looked like amateur day at the body shop (the morries body shop mind you). I expressed my dislike for the job and it was redone a few days later. It finally looked nice but they didn't clearcoat the job so now being that it's on an air dam its all chipped. I'm not even describing the fact that I've actually purchased/leased 3 cars from then over the years. The first experience was awesome and I was very happy (my car died and the salesperson actually picked me up at my home to complete the sale). The lease I was happy with until the finale of the extra months I didn't ask for (which was after I bought my third car from them). The third and final car I bought I got yanked around from both service and sales and will never, ever recomend those guys to anyone. They have absolutely no concept of follow up care and customer happiness. If I got yanked around after buying 2 cars from them previously then how do they treat new customers? More
