I cannot speak well enough for the outstanding customer service my family experienced with Danny Truong at Morrie's Mazda in Minnetonka. Danny had a finesse for providing 'no pressure' service, listening carefully for what we needed in a new vehicle, and diligently searched for vehicles that would be a good fit for our family. We visited the dealership three times before we made our final move to a 2010 Mazda 3. Danny explained Morrie's "Best Price Guarantee" and the finance team worked up some surprisingly attractive numbers. The level of support provided throughout the buying process was unmatched and my family will definitely visit Danny at Morrie's Mazda for our future vehicle needs. More

I bought a Mazda 3 i Touring from Morries, through a very helpful, personable salesman named Curt B. There was no pushing, no sleaze, and the pricing was the best I could find in the state -- without even pressing very hard. However, the real test came a little later. I had purchased (for $34.99) their "buy happy" insurance -- mostly because I wanted the lifetime powertrain warranty. But there was another small feature: they offered a FREE return (all money back) on the vehicle within a 7-day, 300-mile limit if you decided you didn't want it. Not in my wildest dreams did I expect to need that particular clause. However, as I drove the new car home, I realized that I loved how the car handled, but wasn't thrilled with the audio system, the lack of navigation, the fabric interior... And so, after thinking about it for a few days, I called them up and said I wanted to return the vehicle -- and trade up to the Grand Touring trim line. I expected a bunch of grumbling or hemming and hawing, but instead, Curt B. looked into what they had available, and a few hours later I was driving home with the new vehicle. I had to pay the difference on the vehicles, of course, and they could have charged me top dollar. But I got the same discount on the new car that I'd negotiated on the old one -- better than any price I got by calling around. As you can tell, I'm a very happy customer. I recommend Morries heartily. More
Bravo & Kudos to everyone at Morries! Price: Best Bravo & Kudos to everyone at Morries! Price: Best Price Morries Mazda offers the best deals in the Twin Cities hands down. The only thing Bravo & Kudos to everyone at Morries! Price: Best Price Morries Mazda offers the best deals in the Twin Cities hands down. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the zero percent financing. For example, the vehicle MSRP is $38000. They're best price is $33000/ $5000 discount. If you choose the special financing plan zero or .9, you only get it for $37000/$1000 discount. It would be awesome to have the best price with zero. Salesman: Ben I would give Ben 5 stars. He was knowledgable and courteous. I originally bought a used cx-9 and wasn't happy with it and was able to exchang it for a new cx9. Thanks to the Buy Happy promise exchanging the vehicle wasn't a hassle at all. Ben and everyone else handled it professionally. Finance: Finance team The finance team was pretty good. When it came to financing there was a bit of a mixup. We were aiming for .9 or zero percent interest and didn't qualify because we didn't meet a certain credit score. I was told that conventional was the way to go. I was a little uneasy because I knew what my score was already. But my wife pushed me to just go with it and I did. A week later I was sent a letter showing my credit score to be higher than I was told(more than qualifies for zero). This would make anyone uneasy. So I brought it up to the manager and he was able to give me a good rate for the conventional loan. With the discount being greater on a conventional loan it made more sense to stick with conventional(as I was told). When I calculated everything again. They were right. They gave me a great deal. It calculated to be the same as going with the zero percent financing, but with lower monthly payments at a longer term. Even though I believed I wasn't given a good deal to begin with, which was already a descent deal, they still worked with me to make me happy. Wow, I've got to give it to these guys. They know what they're doing and you can TRUST them. If you feel you can get a better rate, fight for it before you sign. Take your time so you won't have to go through so much paperwork(signed paperwork three times). Bottom line, I was unhappy and they made me happy. Highly recommend these guys! More
I visited Morrie's Mazda twice before making my final purchase (Mazda CX-5). I have to say that I couldn't have asked for a better buying experience. My initial two visits to Morrie's were to test drive purchase (Mazda CX-5). I have to say that I couldn't have asked for a better buying experience. My initial two visits to Morrie's were to test drive a few cars and ask (many!) questions regarding models, options, prices, warranties etc. During each visit I worked primarily with Justin Moeller. Justin was extremely helpful in answering any questions I had, without making me feel pressured to purchase before I was ready. Throughout the decision making process, Justin and the team made themselves available via email and phone. They communicated very clearly through the entire process, including working within my price range to get me a car that had not only everything I need, but also a few extras: my "don't need, but still want" list. On the day of my purchase, I was in and out of the dealership with a very clear understanding of my payment plan, as well as many other details (maintenance plan, warranties etc.). I would recommend Morrie's Mazda to anyone who is looking for a smooth, low stress, individualized buying experience. More

Dear Morrie's Mazda, I purchased my Mazda CX-5 back at Dear Morrie's Mazda, I purchased my Mazda CX-5 back at your dealership back on September 29th. When I arrived at Morrie’s Mazda looking for a new car to replace my old Saturn, I honestly was worried. Mainly because, in the two occasions where I have bought a car before, I was paired with a typical car salesman from the movies: pushy, artificial, and looking to close the deal as quickly as possible. Instead, I was greeted right on the lot as I walked in, by Montrell Yancey. Montrell was friendly, funny, and I felt welcome there right away. The first thing he did was sat down and asked what mattered to me in car. He listened attentively, made notes, and addressed each of my questions patiently. I decided I wanted to check out the new CX-5. When it came time for the test drive, he knew everything about the CX-5. I had been to dealerships that week that didn’t know any details without looking at the manual. I had a great time on my test drive, learning about all the new features and asking questions. You know when I decided I was going to increase my $10,000 budget to $27,000 to purchase a CX-5? I decided on my test drive…when I felt like I was hanging out with a good friend that had my best interest at heart. Montrell was fun, but also professional. During my test drive, he patiently addressed every concern and reservation I had about spending two-times more than I had planned to. To be honest, spending that much money can be scary! I wanted to know I made the right decision. Now, when I pay that car payment each month I don’t feel regret like I might have expected. I feel confident in my decision, because Montrell really stood 110% behind the product I purchased. When a ‘check engine’ light came on a few weeks back, I called service and made an appointment. When I got to work the next day, he had emailed me to check in and make sure it was taken care of. I continue to be impressed with Montrell’s customer service and Morrie’s Mazda. Thank you for making my first big car purchase a breeze. I will definitely recommend your dealership to my friends and family looking for a vehicle in the future. Please share this with Montrell and your entire team so they know what an excellent job they do. Sincerely, Robyn More
When we purchased our new vehicle, the sale went good and I found our sales person to be very friendly. However, once the sale was over I learned the "Free oil changes for 3 years" is a sham, it will cost $4 I found our sales person to be very friendly. However, once the sale was over I learned the "Free oil changes for 3 years" is a sham, it will cost $40 + each oil change to use the 0W-20 oil the maintenace manual calls for. Now that we have had our 3rd oil change completed, I again questioned them and now they admit they have only been putting synthetic blend 5W-20 oil in not the 0W-20 as promissed in our original discussion at the first. To top off the situation, I gave a bad rating on their last service survey and received a phone call from the service manager. I got a 10 minute ear full stating I have no right to give a 1 score on those surveys and that I should no longer bring my car there for service. Really? How about you refund me the $500 dollars I paid extra to buy from Morries? That is the price difference between Morries and Walser. I got the Morries "Buy happy" for that difference of $500 but when does the Buy Happy start? How about the 3 years of free oil changes using ONLY the oil the use manual suggests? I am not asking for a lot, only the user manual RECOMMENDS. Mark my words, you will NEVER see me walk into a Morries dealership again to purchase a vehicle. More
This is the second car we have purchased from Morrie's Mazda in the past six months and our salesperson for both transactions was Dan Hegge. To be honest, Dan is the main reason why we came back to this d Mazda in the past six months and our salesperson for both transactions was Dan Hegge. To be honest, Dan is the main reason why we came back to this dealership for a second vehicle. Over the years I have purchased vehicles with a sticker price over $50,000 and the first car we bought from Dan was under $8,000. I received better service from Dan/Morrie's 'before, during, and after' the sale on this used vehicle than I have from any other dealership where I spent upwards of 6 times that amount. No matter what price range you are looking at, new or used, I would highly recommend purchasing your vehicle from Dan Hegge at Morrie's Mazda. More
