I came to Morries Mazda in search for a used vehicle. I knew I had fair credit with some dings on my record. As I am filling out the credit app she was happy as can be. I told her before she even ran my credit, that it was not very good. After she ran it, she basically kindly turned me away and gave me a lecture on how money down and a co signer would help. I did have a co signer but that is not why I was there. I wanted my own car with only my name on the loan/ vehicle purchase. She said "money talks" which turned me away. She seemed more interested in the sale rather than helping me. She stated because of my credit history. The bank would look at putting me into a more newer and expensive car, as well a car I may not even want. WHY... would I want to spend thousands on a car I do not want baffeled my mind. She would of had a sale if she listened carefully to what my needs were. After leaving. I did get an email. Thanking me for stopping by. The next following days. Mutiple emails from her and one other associate asking on my progress to when I will be back to discuss adding my co signer. I felt pressured. The motto is to "Buy Happy". How am I buying happy, if I am told I would be buying something I did not want. Happily I was able to get the car I wanted and a bank to finance me at another location out in Shakopee, MN. More

Everything went smoothly as we worked through the deal and paperwork. There were a couple of small issues with the 2012 Kia Soul I was buying. A cracked windshield from a rock chip. It was arranged to replace the glass at my home the next day. Everything went great and the glass was installed perfectly. In the end I was able to purchase the car I wanted at a very fair price, a reasonable figure for my trade and my payments were in the zone. My experience was one of the best I've had in 30 plus years of buying cars. I will be using to those free oil changes and car washes.....Morries will be the first place I check next time I'm ready to buy! More
I rated the dealership this high because it truly was a "great" experience. This was the first time buying a car for me and my wife and our sales associate, Dan Hegge made us feel very comfortable with ou "great" experience. This was the first time buying a car for me and my wife and our sales associate, Dan Hegge made us feel very comfortable with our experience. He went and grabbed a CX-9 in our budget from another dealer and let us take it home for a night so we could get our overall feel for the car, day and night. When we decided to buy the car, he took it into the shop and had all of the dings and dents removed like they always do at Morries Minnetonka Mazda and also had it detailed perfectly so it looked and felt like a new car. We also had the car get certified to make sure the entire car was in the best shape it could be. All of this took about 3 days but Dan called us each day with an update and kept us feeling in the loop at all times. He was very informative and helpful in the entire process from start to finish and he was very personable. We felt like we were buying a car from a family member. We would both recommend going into Morries Minnetonka Mazda and seeing Dan Hegge if you are looking for a Mazda or another used car!!! More
This was our first service experience at Morrie's Mazda. Dianne Burnham, our sales person, responded to an email on her day off about the steps we should take. We first spoke with Jean in Service, who seemed to really care about getting the car in to be looked at. Jim met us inside; he was patient and asked a lot of questions to really understand what was going on. He asked Rich to go out on a test drive with us and it was very helpful to be in the car together, explaining and experiencing the vibration in real time . Both of these guys were very professional, while being friendly and personal. When I returned to pick up the car Jim explained what they had done and what they had found and I was pleased to see that what had been recorded on the service order was very detailed. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. After our very positive experience with Dianne and after this first service experience, we now will confidently recommend both the car we bought, the sales person, and the dealership to our friends and family. BUY HAPPY??? BUYER BEWARE!! Today I am extremely skeptical of the "Buy Happy" campaign Morrie's has initiated. Despite all of the 'wonderful' things displayed on this website, we have had a TERRIBL skeptical of the "Buy Happy" campaign Morrie's has initiated. Despite all of the 'wonderful' things displayed on this website, we have had a TERRIBLE experience. Let me tell you our story. We 'found' my dream car on their website - a beautiful little 2004 chili red Mini-Cooper S located at the Minnetonka, MN dealership. We drove from Hayward, WI - approx. 3 hours last Sunday to take a look at it. We instantly fell in love and decided to pursue it. Being closer in proximity to the Morrie's Chippewa Valley dealership, we contacted them and made arrangements to test-drive a similar vehicle they had on their lot. We drove down there on Monday late afternoon despite bad roads and inclement weather. At that time, we decided to purchase the Mini, and their staff called the Minnetonka dealership to ensure it was still available, which it was. We signed a purchase agreement/contract & left a monetary deposit at that time and arranged for the car to be picked up from Minnetonka and delivered to Morrie's CV dealership. All week, our excitement was building - we couldn't wait to pick up our precious Mini, and waited for the salesperson to call us with the good news. Imagine our extreme disappointment when the salesperson called and told us that THE CAR HAD BEEN SOLD OUT FROM UNDER US!! Despite the fact that we had a purchase agreement, apparently the Minnetonka dealership had sent the car elsewhere to be sold to someone else. We pursued this with the staff at Morrie's Chippewa Valley, thinking there could be a solution to this problem. However, we were wrong. We felt more could have been done to salvage this sale and our trust. Again, we were wrong. Now, you're probably thinking "this is just a car - get over it." But, it's the principal of the matter. For years, this has been my dream car - every time I saw one, I would get excited and say "some day I will have one of those." We finally felt the right car at the right price fell into our laps - it was just too good to be true! Now, we are extremely angry and very distrustful of the Morrie's franchise. We feel they have violated our trust and are doing very little to earn it back. We attempted to communicate with the general manager of Morrie's Chippewa Valley, but received an e-mail that he was not available, after being told he is usually at the dealership on Saturdays (the earliest he could meet would be Wednesday - more time off of work and a 2 hour drive one way for us to accomplish this). It didn't appear to us that he was worried about losing a customer. What's bothersome to us, is that there is no clear explanation as to the sequence of events which led to this situation. At least none that has been presented to us. SO, to the owner(s) of the 2004 chili red Mini-Cooper S ... we hope you enjoy our car. To everyone else - beware. More
Dianne was great to work with. I purchased a pre-owned Mazda MPV from Morrie's as a second vehicle. She helped me every step of the way, from the test drive to assisting me with getting the vehicle home ( Mazda MPV from Morrie's as a second vehicle. The MPV had just been traded in on the morning of the Saturday that I bought it. She had it delivered to me the following Monday afternoon, cleaned and ready. She also made sure that my financing was taken care of while I took the vehicle out for an inspection. This was the smoothest vehicle purchase I have ever made. Dianne is a very popular salesperson with the customers there and I can see why. She is very friendly and helpful and I'll definitely ask for her again for my future vehicle purchases. More
I've driven a 626 since I bought it new in 1996 and have always had it serviced at Morrie's Minnetonka. Recently my children convinced me it was time to upgrade to a newer car. I knew that there were have always had it serviced at Morrie's Minnetonka. Recently my children convinced me it was time to upgrade to a newer car. I knew that there were a number of different options I would find satisfactory. Due primarily to the exemplary service I have enjoyed at Morrie's for over 25 years as well as the unfailing friendliness and helpfulness of the entire staff, I confined my search to Mazda and ultimately bought a new CX5, which I confidently expect will be well-serviced at Morrie's going forward. Just had my 5th minor maintenance (every 5000 miles) service visit performed at Morries Mazda on my 2012 Mazda. I have had 3 different techs perform the service now according to my receipts. During th service visit performed at Morries Mazda on my 2012 Mazda. I have had 3 different techs perform the service now according to my receipts. During the 5000 mile minor maintenance service, the door hinges are listed as being lubricated, and it is also called out in the owners manual for being required every 5000 miles. Well, out of the 5 times I have had this service, the hinges have only been lubricated twice. This last service visit marks the third time it has not been completed. Looking thru the receipts, only one technician consistently performs this task every time. The same technician also has the absolute best attention to detail, the undercarriage is clean afterwards and the oil on the dipstick is at the perfect level. The undercarriage is so clean and so is the bottom of the oil pan when its complete you would swear it was not done, but I know it was. This is the level of detail I love to see. After this last oil change, I did check the oil level and it was barely wetting the end of the dipstick. I checked it several times and yes the car was on a level surface with the engine off for several minutes to allow the oil to drain into the oil pan. I ended up adding 16oz of oil to bring it to the full mark, a half a quart of oil. I am not saying the service at Morries is unacceptable, its just more inconsistent than I would like to see. In the future I will request the technician by the tech number listed on the receipt that has consistently performed beyond my expectations and performed all the tasks I am paying for like the hinge lubrication. More

Jesse Howard is a very knowledgable and professional gentleman to work with. What was intended to be a brief online chat ended up becoming a very informative online session which then developed into gentleman to work with. What was intended to be a brief online chat ended up becoming a very informative online session which then developed into a visit to the dealership resulting in the purchase of my 2012 Mazda 3 GT. I would highly recommend Jesse to anyone in who is actively or passively in the market for a vehicle, Many of the other sales associates were very kind and attentive to us during those times we were waiting on a vehicle to test drive (4 in all in our case) as Jesse was also helping 2 other customers during the first part of our visit, but I would not have known that had he not mentioned it to us. A very good experience all around in terms of ease of atmosphere and the level of courtesy and respect we were shown during our 7 hour visit to Morrie's Mazda. This will not be our last car purchsed here. More
