I will start off by saying that I did not want to resort to writing a negative review, but I believe it was warranted as I haven’t been able to get a resolution, or any sort of explanation communicated to m to writing a negative review, but I believe it was warranted as I haven’t been able to get a resolution, or any sort of explanation communicated to me from anyone on the sales team at Morrie’s Minnetonka Mazda. I was there test driving a vehicle I intended to buy on 2/12/25. I communicated to them that I needed to pick up a check from my bank and that I would be able to return on Friday 2/14/25 to pickup my car. I had a purchase order in hand from the dealership and they knew full well that I was on my way to get my money and that this sale should have been marked as pending. Friday morning arrives and I get a text from the salesmen stating that Morries had sold my car to someone else yesterday. At this point I had my cashier’s check and other paperwork in hand, and I was ready to head down to the dealership in an hour. Nobody gave me the courtesy of a phone call, text nor email the day before to even let me know that someone else was interested in my car. They never gave me a chance to get down there. I wasn’t given a single warning. In addition to this, I have tried on four different occasions to get ahold of the salesmen, Rex, just to get answers as to how things went down. He has been ducking ever single call and text. I tried calling the main number to get ahold of the sales manager and they are never available, even when I am lucky enough to have someone pick up the phone. Shame on the sales manager for allowing this sort of thing to happen. To allow a sale to go through knowing full well there was already a pending sale… and then not even give me the courtesy of a phone call before it sold. All this to say, this dealership is not customer friendly. Regardless of their dealership rules and how they do business, these kinds of practices breed a bad reputation for the Morries name. I ask the sales team to please take this from the customers perspective. Would you want your vehicle sold out from under you too? And not have your chance to claim it before it sold to somebody else? Would you want to be left in the dark and not know that you didn’t get the car until after it sold? I urge any prospective customer of Morrie’s to please proceed with caution. I gave Morrie’s the chance to defend themselves but again, I was ignored. I feel that I must result to this review in hopes that it prevents a future unsuspecting customer from the same thing I had to put up with. More
Both Rex and Teresa were fantastic to work with. I had an awesome experience at Morris’s Mazda Minnetonka. They didn’t have the car I wanted but found the exact car I was looking for from another dealer and could get it to me quickly. The sales team was very friendly and knowledgeable, making sure they knew what I was looking for and once we found it all my questions were answered. And of course making sure I wasn’t thirsty or hungry. The finance manager was also very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions making sure I was comfortable with my monthly payment. I would definitely recommend Morries! More
This dealership is very nice on both the inside and outside. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the staff members were professional and kind. Knew what he was talking about, was very helpful explaining features and pricing, and wasn’t pushy when offering extra modifications. Overall, I had a good experience here and I love my new Mazda :) More

It's hard to imagine a worse buying experience. I accompanied a disabled person to buy a car. I called the dealership in advance to let them know of her disability and that, because of severe back I accompanied a disabled person to buy a car. I called the dealership in advance to let them know of her disability and that, because of severe back problems, she wasn't able to stay at the dealership for long. I asked that they prep the paperwork and confirm the price in advance. They refused to do either. Instead, they required her to stand at the dealership for 1.5 hours while they prepared paperwork that they could have had ready to go when we arrived. After all, we provided copies of the driver's license and insurance in advance. So why not make the sale smooth for a disabled person, you ask? Because the dealership wanted to take the opportunity to upsell on accessories and warranties. It is a classic example of putting profits over people. By the end of the experience, she was in severe pain. I would steer clear of this dealership. I'd give zero stars if that were an option. More
