Upon getting home, I realized the unlock button on the key fob did not work. I called the dealership the next day and asked for the used car manager; I was transferred and left a detailed message with the issue and my call back information. I waited a few days and did not receive a callback; I called again that Thursday, again asking for the used car manager and again leaving a detailed message with the issue and my call back number. Again, no callback; instead, I received a voicemail from the salesperson from their personal cell phone. I returned the call and left a detailed message for the salesperson, and once again - no return call. I called the dealership again and asked for the salesperson; I was transferred and was actually able to speak to them. Of course, the response was, I don't have that authority, I'll need to talk to the used car manager - well, I thought that in the first place, and that is why I call the used car sales manager. The salesperson said they would talk with the manager and call me back. Well, that was a week ago, and it is now Sunday, April 11th - nearly three weeks later and no answers. I said I hoped they would work with me in all of my messages and put me in touch with the Ford dealership that Morrie's owns just down the road. The main issue with the key fob not working is that when you unlock using the key, you have to start the vehicle right away to avoid the alarm from going off - very annoying. I can't recommend anyone buying used from Morrie's Mazda in Minnetonka based on their customer service after the sale. More

On March 20,2021 I chatted with used car sales person Scott Wheatley. I was interested in making the 90 minute drive into town to see a used Town & Country van but wanted to be sure it would be availabl Scott Wheatley. I made an appointment for two hours later and Scott assured me that he would keep the van keys on his desk so it couldn’t be sold out from under me. I arrived at Morrie’s Mazda an hour and 45 minutes later. Greeted by another salesman, Michael - he took me to see the van. Ten minutes later Scott arrived to tell me the van had been sold! I spent almost three hours and drove over 120 miles only to be offered a taco lunch for my inconvenience. Calls and emails to the management of Morrie’s Mazda have proved them to be unwilling to even address my issue, not even an apology or offer to pay for my gas. Whether it was Scott who did not keep his word or another sales person who sold the van out from under Scott as well as me, I don’t know. But the lack of honesty and integrity is striking and just reinforces the stereotype of what used car sales people are like. This was a horrible, terrible, very bad experience. And to date this is the second time I have tried to post a review. NOT surprisingly they are unwilling to post a NEGATIVE review giving the public the false belief that this is a reputable place. My experience proves it to be anything BUT reputable. STAY AWAY from Morrie’s Mazda if you are looking for honest, fair treatment when TRYING to buy a used car! More

Customer service is impeccable. Went above and beyond to fix my car, and went out of their way to save me money on parts. I took in my car for a 30k checkup, and they showed me a video of the underneath of fix my car, and went out of their way to save me money on parts. I took in my car for a 30k checkup, and they showed me a video of the underneath of my car, explaining everything that needed replacing, which was awesome. They broke down prices for me upfront, and getting a loaner car while mine was serviced was no problem. Later that day, I got a call telling me they discovered a way to avoid buying new parts, and saved me a significant amount of money in the process even AFTER I approved the purchase of new parts. These guys rule. I don't know how their prices compare to other places, but I only trust these guys to do right by me. More
