For now, I'd like to inform & warn those who may be interested in Diamond Fusion. Here are reviews by others: "The biggest scam currently at dealerships: Diamond Fusion Windshield treatment." "Warning: Do not waste your hard earned dollars on diamond fusion products. Absolutely fraudulent in every way!" "Save yourself $600 & buy a container of Rain-X wipes from walmart, same kind of stuff" Truth be told their sales pitch is absolute garbage. Morries claimed & guaranteed Diamond Fusion makes your glass 10x stronger preventing rock chips & cracks. I was very skeptical, they KEPT insisting the 10x stronger glass, stated bugs that hit wouldn't leave residue & of course the repelling of rain, after I declined 3x and kept negotiating them down on their price for it. I still wasn't thoroughly convinced, so I negotiated a lower rate for the Diamond Fusion since I really didn't care either way & they WOULDN'T TAKE NO for an answer (another red flag). It was unreal, I should have known she was trying WAY TOO HARD to upsell it. Within THREE months, I had 2 rock chips, one of which was actually cracked a little. I called the dealership 2 different times leaving voicemails asking for a return phone call. Not one return call. I talked to service also, they told me to contact the store which I'd already done. Eight mos later, (so less than 1 yr after getting this new vehicle) a rock hit my windshield and cracked it in THREE places!! One was 2 different cracks each about 3/4 in long, the other was a chip from the same rock. So in less than a yr, I had 3-4 chips & 2 good size cracks which called for an entire windshield replacement. Mind you I drive MUCH less than I ever did pre Diamond Falsehood, I mean Fusion, yet they CLAIM it "PREVENTS" chips & cracks. I called the GM & spoke with him. He tried saying the standard things that customer service "should" say but it was very clear he wasn't sincere. I heard the words, I'm sorry you weren't happy with the purchase & that it didn't meet your expectations, no one else has complained (which I don't believe for a split second) blah blah blah, but the tone was "tough sh** deal with it, you bought it, it's your loss, we aren't gonna do squat about it". He even said "well, it's not going to "prevent" chips or cracks". Despite the Diamond Fusion website stating the exact OPPOSITE of this. See below: "Diamond Fusion makes windshield glass ten times harder to pit, chip, or crack. That is only one of the other benefits, besides water repellency, that it provides" We all know any reputable business does what they can to actually make it right, whatever right it, is dependent on what the customer & the business negotiate a fair compensation, extra incentive etc etc. I've been driving for almost 37 yrs & I've never had more chips & cracks combined in all my cars more than I had in 11 mos post Diamond Fusion. I will say it helped to repel rain, bugs still splattered all over my windshield & wouldn't come off even with the washer fluid. It absolutely did NOT make it 10x stronger or minimize chips cracks as stated and sold. They should be honest & sell it as rain repellent, which I'd be embarrassed AF asking for $600 from customers for this then them not accepting "NO thank you" (FOUR TIMES)!! This is purely a commission (for them), and absolute hoax. Go buy rain x wipes or any comparable product. Do yourself a favor to save $600, windshield replacements, time, headache & frustration. After the GM was clearly not interested in making things right & trying to gaslight me, I informed him I'd be entering a review on the non disputed facts. So if they respond they are sorry & that customer service is priority, do know that their actions speak loud & clear. You've been warned ⚠️ More
