Was sold a lemon. They're either dishonest or irresponsible Had an awful experience at this dealership. I noticed also noticed (after driving for a week) the wheel bearings badly needed to be replaced, and the knob for the heat/AC was broken (just sitting in the groove.. and apparent that pliers was used to turn the dial inside), but minor things I could fix myself. I find it hard to believe that they didn't know about any of these issues before selling it to me, and find it much more likely that he played dumb. I was told by Tom that it had some slight body damage from hail but mechanically sound. "We test them and make sure they run down the road, that's about it." Riiiight.. the car isn't checked for any major problems? If the car blows up on my way out of the lot, and I opt out of the warranty, is that on me, too? Yes, I could/should have bought the warranty, but it's an older used car that I just intend(ed) to get 2-3 years out of. And is it unreasonable to expect a car bought from a dealership would last for more than 500 miles before a significant problem happens? If this happened after 6 months it's a different story. Especially when I'm told it's mechanically sound and would be a good commuter from the dealer, who is (in theory) supposed to help you get all of the information to decide on the right vehicle? If they would have told me about any of these issues, I could have made a better decision, but I think they were just happy to get my money and get rid of the car. Tom himself seemed apathetic and close to retirement so probably doesn't care much, in general. I was basically told, tough luck, it's your problem. Was told the same from the manager. I have two friends who are mechanics at dealerships and when I explained the situation they said that when that happens at their work, the dealership tries to meet them halfway or provide parts, even if they aren't obligated to do so - imagine that: building a rapport with your customers! What a concept! Be very careful at this dealership, especially if looking at used cars. You probably won't get all of the information, and they wash their hands of you as soon as you give them your money. I would expect to be ripped off from a private party on craigslist, but not from a big, seemingly professional dealership. More

"Buy Happy" is a lie I will praise businesses when they do well and I will rip on them when they don't. Morrie's Minnetonka Ford Lincoln is one of the worst businesses tha I will praise businesses when they do well and I will rip on them when they don't. Morrie's Minnetonka Ford Lincoln is one of the worst businesses that I have ever encountered. Their service department is an absolute disaster, their service manager Jim Misjak is unresponsive and their general manager John Aretz cares more about profits than he cares about treating his customers fairly. Stay away from this dealership! Their slogan "buy happy" is so far from the truth they should be sued for false advertising More

His knowledge of Ford vehicles is second to none and his laid back, no pressure sales style was top notch. I could write a novel on my experience but I will just say that Curtis went the extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I am a very picky customer and Curtis did not disappoint when he delivered my mint 2014 titanium Escape. I look forward to future business with Curtis and Morrie's. More

Buy Happy Gaurantee--Absolutely true! My husband and I purchased a 6-year old Toyota Tacoma pick up truck from Jake Braun at Morries Ford in Wayzata, MN. Everything seemed to check ou My husband and I purchased a 6-year old Toyota Tacoma pick up truck from Jake Braun at Morries Ford in Wayzata, MN. Everything seemed to check out okay during the test drive, but when we brought it home and put it in reverse, we noticed that something was squeaking. We took it back to the dealership, and they repaired a broken drive shaft that would have cost us about $600. We got it back but felt a little uneasy about rust underneath the truck. Because we were still within the "7-day Buy Happy" guarantee, we asked Jake if he would still let us return it. He said with a smile, "No problem." We appreciated his professional manner. He did not give us a hard time or make us feel bad about returning the truck. Typically, we purchase used vehicles from private owners. However, after this dealership repairing the truck and still taking it back, we felt grateful that we went through this dealership. Thank you, Jake Braun at Morries Ford in Wayzata. My final straw was when they removed a trim piece, didnt fix it and didn't put it back on. When I went to pick up my car and I pointed out it was missing, I got the same " I don't believe you" and then they proceeded to tell me I needed to call the service manager the next day to see "if" he could help me! What? They lost it! Ugh... Typical of the overall service I have recieved over the last year. I would NOT recommend buying a car here. More

We were immediately greeted and found a salesperson, Chris, who was very knowledgable about all the cars we tested with him (Expedition, Explorer and Flex). We had been to a couple of dealerships where the salespeople knew less about the cars than we did! We decided on a Flex. They found a car with the options we wanted in another state and offered us a fair deal. Less than a week later, the car arrived at the dealership. We then worked with Curtis who PATIENTLY walked us through every detail of the car including explaining the very extensive My Ford Touch system. We never felt rushed-Curtis made every effort to ensure we understood everything about the car. He encouraged us to call him with any questions should they arise. Curtis also introduced us to the gentlemen in the service center-Jason explained processes for car washes, oil changes and any other service needs-very friendly and informative. Justin helped us with the financing-again, very friendly and efficient-made the process very painless! Overall the car buying experience was a positive one and we would definitly recommend the dealership and Curtis. More

Wonderful Experience I joke and tell everyone that I walked in for an oil change and walked out with a new car. While waiting for my oil change on my older Escape I was w I joke and tell everyone that I walked in for an oil change and walked out with a new car. While waiting for my oil change on my older Escape I was walking through the showroom because I had been thinking about possibly getting a newer one. After two other sales people walked right by me here came Curtis. His energy and personality is amazing and you can really tell he is passionate about what he does. He made sure I new everything about my new Escape and how to work all the cool gadgets. He has followed up after as well to see how I am liking my new car. He is fabulous! More

Best dealaer hands down. I have visited a few dealers, and had no luck. Every other dealer in town pretty much said here's our price, take it or leave it, and wouldn't work wi I have visited a few dealers, and had no luck. Every other dealer in town pretty much said here's our price, take it or leave it, and wouldn't work with me. That's when I went to Morrie's Minnetonka Ford. I have used Morrie's once before, and went back again the second time when I realized I needed a bigger vehicle. Go see Curtis Hughes, he's awesome, really works to take care of.his customers complete buying experience. Morrie's overall is an amazing dealership, from the Buy Happy perks (Free oil changes and car washs) to their finance team and their service folks. More
