Very helpful management I brought my car in for the 60,000 mile tune up. The people in the service center were friendly, but no one went over what would be done to my car wit I brought my car in for the 60,000 mile tune up. The people in the service center were friendly, but no one went over what would be done to my car with me. I had multiple correspondents with the service center, and each time I asked for an estimate they said they'd call back with one and they never did. The next day I received a call from them saying my car would be ready that afternoon, and I asked for an estimate. He said he'd call me back. He did, with a $1015.89 bill. He told me they replaced all the filters, flushed the transmission fluid, replaced spark plugs, changed my oil, rotated my tires, the list goes on. I was astounded, because I did not authorize any of these replacements or repairs. I contacted my friend Nick Bohanon, who is a salesman there, and told him my issue. He immediately got on the phone with his manager and told me who to ask for when I went in, and he apologized on the service centers behalf. When i went in to talk to management, they were super understanding. They realized that when I scheduled it online, it auto selects all the repairs and things that will be done, but no one ever went over it with me. They were very patient, understanding, and helpful. I ended up only paying my deductible for an axle seal leak. My car feels a lot better to drive now, and I will continue bringing my car here. More

Morrie's charged us $140.00 to "look" at it and told us we needed a new one for $2,900.00 as well as many other service items that needed to be fixed. We took our car to another local car shop and for $50.00 our running board is working perfect!! Morrie's did not even try and fix it ,they just wanted to charge as much as possible for the running board as well as other non necessary items. We will never go back. In fairness to the service agent we called him twice to discuss this and he never called us back. More

Poor Service and worse communication My wife thought she was buying happy and initially says she paid a fair price for a certified used vehicle and had a pleasant buying experience. While service representatives are nice up front, they are short on follow through and the service is even worse causing the overall experience not to be happy. My thought it these guys cannot get their act together. The first issue is after an oil change when the splash pan fell off and I needed to bungee it up to drive it home and in for service the next day. Although the service team took no responsibility the manager begrudgingly replaced it free of cost. The replaced splash guard fell off the next day needing to be bungee corded back in to place again. When we brought it back they apologized for the situation and took no responsibility. At this time a little less than happy and more weary. The splash guard now stays where it belongs. A week after a routine oil change and transmission flush the engine light illuminated. After 20 years of service as a jet mechanic, I decided to check the fluids as prescribed in the owner’s manual. The brake reservoir was well below acceptable levels and appeared bone dry after opening the cap. So, I checked the Multi-Point Inspection Report completed by the Minnetonka Morrie’s Ford / Lincoln a week earlier to verify that the brake reservoir had been checked and was OK and it was clearly checked OK on the dealership form. We brought our vehicle in the next day and advised that the engine light was on and that the brake reservoir was beyond low and that I could see that bottom when the cap was removed and that the brake fluid level was checked a week ago as being OK. We received messages about the car from Steve and through calling his direct line someone would pick up and transfer me or state they would leave him a message because he was busy. The service desk could not get in touch with anyone that would help or return a call either. They stated that the brake fluid was full and the engine light was a coolant bypass valve that would cost over $400 to repair. We picked the car up five days later with Steve who said he had no record of us calling and he reached out multiple times and that no one answers his phone as the girl did who was sitting at his desk while we waited for him to retrieve our unrepaired vehicle. Funny side bar, as we are waiting to police from Orono drop off a Ford Explorer that it appears Morrie’s has failed to repair properly as well since they said they we leaving the vehicle and would be paying $0 for the repairs. They also advised their department was ready to drop the Fords of with Morrie’s and go back to Chargers. When Steve returned, he held his ground and with no apology we unhappily left Morrie’s. Moral of the Story, while your purchase may buy happy, you may end up unhappy in the end. More
