Misleading and inaccurate sales We were in search of a used vehicle for our daughter. We found a vehicle that we were interested in on Morrie's website. It was a low mileage vehicle We were in search of a used vehicle for our daughter. We found a vehicle that we were interested in on Morrie's website. It was a low mileage vehicle and "Accident free". I submitted the "Interest" request form on the website and was contacted within a short period of time. This would be a 8hr drive round trip to see this vehicle and I based the decision to make the trip based on the dealership's representation of the vehicle. Well, my wife and I made the trip and arrived to the dealership on time for our scheduled appointment. We were met by someone who said that the salesperson we were suppose to meet with was busy and he would show us the vehicle. Immediately upon walking up to the car I could see paint over spray on the rubber trim around the headlights and door trim. Then I could see clear coat pealing. From there I opened the doors, sanding scratches in the bond and looked like it was painted with a rattle can. In the window was a sticker that read something to the effect of fully detailed, I will say that the interior was clean but that was as far as it went. The engine compartment looked like it sat outside under trees for six months with the hood open. As I started pointing out these things to the salesman he showed me the vehicle report that showed no accidents reported. My thing is, that simply says no accidents reported, Morrie's represented this car as "accident free". It was so obvious that this car was repainted. Totally misrepresented and dishonest. To sum up, original salesman appointment was made with did not keep it, dealership detailing very poor at best and vehicle descriptions cannot be trusted. Maybe if I was spending 60k on a new car it would have been different but should that be? More
