I live 2 and a ha At least don't buy online from a distance away. I could go on forever with a lot more detail but don't figure anyone would read it. I live 2 and a half hours away from this dealership. Told them "no" twice but even after I was assured I had the best "Morries' price" they kept finding rebates, a new sale and miscalculated sales tax until they finally got in my ballpark price wise. Told the salesman I didn't have a trade and didn't want to finance. I get a call on Saturday that they don't accept Iowa checks and I was coming on in 2 days on Presidents day to pick up vehicle. If I would have known I could have gotten a cashiers check to them to cover most of cost and paid cash when for rest. That was just the beginning. Arrived and found an 8 inch scratch and a ding on the trunk and another ding on the door. Fortunately they were able to buff out the scratch. The new car manager told me his paintless dent repair guy had been there that morning and was embarrassed that the car was in that condition and offered to have me get it fixed in my area at the dealership expense and anything else that would make me happy. I figured as long as they could get it right I would work with them, I want to trust people and take them at their word. After quite a process, we finally meet with the finance guy. He offers me a warranty that costs over $3000 and then makes me feel like I'm an idiot for not buying it. Maybe I will regret it someday but don't make me feel like that and at the least disclose that kind of cost ahead of time so buyers can plan for it. A few days later I get a call from a female manager telling me the salesman I worked with no longer works for them and if there is anything else they can do for me to give her a call. (I did call her again later and she never returned my call) I find a guy with over 20 years of paintless dent repair experience to do the work and he gets the ding out of the door completely but is unable to totally fix the ding on the trunk. So I call the new car manager who had promised me that if there was anything else they could do they would make me happy. After some discussion I told him all the expenses my wife and I had in missing a day of work, driving for the repair, cost of financing when I didn't plan to do so, etc. So I asked for monetary compensation of $500 to cover those costs. He contacted his general manager who was supposed to give me a call. After they received the bill for the repair I never heard from them again until I called. Finally the general manager called and told me they considered the matter closed once they paid the ding guy. I started to share with him what I had visited with the new car manager about compensation and stopped me and told me he had visited with him "in detail" about those items but they don't just cut checks to anyone. So he knew the matter was not closed in my opinion and just lied to me. Not one other offer of something they could do to make me feel better about the whole process except that I could drive the car up there again and they could fix it, which totally went against what my guy with over 20 years experience had told me and was just gonna cost me more of my time and money. Like I said there is a lot more to tell but getting too long. Maybe I am just too old but I grew up in the day when "the customer is always right" and even if they felt what I asked for was too much then they should have offered something to make up for their mistakes. Put yourself my in place, do you think that a new car should be like that? It was never about the money, obviously I wanted to pay cash from the beginning but it was all about the treatment and lack of concern for my situation. Basically I felt like I was more of a pain for them than a valued customer. So good luck to you if you choose this place, hopefully it will be a better experience for you. More
Purchased a new 2022 Ram 1500 Limited from Forest Lake Auto Group. I ordered the truck at the height of COVID shutdowns for the manufacturers due to chip shortages so it took quite a bit longer for the truck to be built and come in. Jessica kept me posted the whole time I was waiting and I think was more worried about the amount of time it took than I was. She was great to work with through the whole process of trading my old truck, pick up and delivery with the new truck. She was a true professional with the knowledge of all the accessories of the vehicle. I highly recommend Jessica when buying a new vehicle. More

I bought a new 2022 ram Laramie eco diesel the sale went ok but they told me they misplaced the second key, after a couple months of “looking for it” they ordered me a replacement. I was told to come in aft ok but they told me they misplaced the second key, after a couple months of “looking for it” they ordered me a replacement. I was told to come in after work and they would program it and I would be on my way. That was not the case after waiting out side of the service doors for 45min I finily was allowed to drive in, service was upset at me that I did not have an appointment and I didn’t know I needed one because sales set it up because they only had one key for the new truck. After the got that figured out service was done programming the key but charged my warranty and they told me I had to tell them I lost the key. Now I’m in need of a new key, call up the dealer they said I had two recalls so I set up a time to get that fixed, they had no clue about the warranties I have, how much any charges would be, did not know if a loaner would be covered (it was odd because when they need to replace the key they had all that information), but did talk to parts and had a key but they where almost three weeks out to be able to have a loaner for me. After I set that up I talked to dodge about tires (35k on them and the tread is gone) they informed me that no parts are available to fix the recall. I called back the dealer and explained that to the person on the phone and all I wanted to do is get a key replacement. He said he put in a message to the service manger and they would call me the next day. The next day I waited until 1:00pm and gave the dealership a call when I told the man on the phone that no one has called me and I was checking in he said “there are plenty hours left in the day” and that the service manger would call and he would send another message to call me. Called back at 5:40 explained everything again, she put me on hold to confirm that they didn’t have the parts to fix the recall that they set up to fix. At this point I just wanted to cancel my appointment and just get the key replaced, she explained all the charges said they had to order the key and she knew nothing about my coverage on the keys and would send an urgent message to the service manger again to call me. 24hrs and no call this will be going on to day four. This dealer left me with the feeling that they don’t care, that they just want to sell you new truck with all the extra coverages undercoating 3m protection film etc. but when they loose a key for a new truck that I needed to help them out. The sales person I talked to said it would be over a week before he can get to his emails. We had a sales lady that would not even get back to back to us. Would not recommend this dealership at all! I wish I would have brought my used truck to my trusted mechanic before I purchased it and I would not buy the warranty again as it didn't cover the repair when my truck broke down a month after purchase. mechanic before I purchased it and I would not buy the warranty again as it didn't cover the repair when my truck broke down a month after purchase. Once I paid to have it towed back to them at my own expense. They were able to fix the issue quickly and did not charge me for tightening the bolts that hold the starter on the vehicle. I was informed my truck needed a $400 lube service when I had just bought it a month prior at this time. When I picked my vehicle up after it was serviced, I asked where my vehicle is. I was told, "Its either out back or on the side of the building". So I aimlessly walked around the parking lot clicking the horn on my key fob to sift through all the other white Ram pick up trucks. Since then, they agreed to reimburse me (if I took down my review, which I did) but the check has not come in the agreed upon timeline Purchased from Forest Lake Ram More
