This is by far the worst dealership I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Worst customer service, terrible quality work and they have no idea how to call you back after leaving a voice mail with 3 di with in my entire life. This all started when I bought a 2023 Denali 2500hd Duramax. They asked me if I wanted to add paint protection film and undercoating rust protection spray and I stated I had it customized on my truck and I had a guy that could do it up where I live and he called the manager over to meet me and talk about how I wanted it all installed and they tried to over charge me right off the bat and I said I could do all this for cheaper from my guy that does an outstanding job. They also said they could do the truck all on a Friday and finish it on a Saturday. and then they ended up keeping it for 3 days right off the bat. So, after it was done and I came and got it there was a torrential downpour at the time so I didn't get to inspect the truck till I got home that evening and I noticed that the paint protection film was all messed up and installed extremely poorly. it was peeling off my bumper already, hood scoop, driver side panel as well as they only did a 1/3 of my tailgate and didn't do what I paid them to do on it. On top of that I had them take off my bug shield so they could wrap the film like it’s supposed to be on my hood, and they put a bunch of dents on the front right side of my hood. and as far as the undercoating spray I am looking at and they missed parts on the bottom of my truck. It was the worst work I’ve ever seen. I was very angry because they really talked up their "quality work" and the manager said he inspected everything to make sure it went out good at the time I signed up for this. Well clearly my truck was never inspected by anyone because this truck should have never left the shop looking like this in the beginning. This is downright pathetic. So, they told me to come in and just drop off the truck whenever I have time. So, I called the detail manager and the service manager and left them voice mails on Tuesday (11/14/23) saying that I had a chance to bring in my truck on Friday(11/17/23). I also left another manager a voicemail on (11/16/23) as well as calling my salesman Tyler in the morning of (11/16/23) so who said he was going to the get the bottom of this and get this straightened out right away and not one person from the dealership has called me back. I don’t think anyone there knows how to use a phone or check their voicemails. Clearly, they don’t give a xxxx about customer service at all. Very unprofessional. I have been way too patient through this and none of this should have happened in the beginning anyway. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Once they make their sale, they could care less about you. More
I moved to the area about 6 months ago and used the service center a few times. Everything was fine. Two weeks ago we took my daughter’s car in for a check engine light. She was given an estimate of $ service center a few times. Everything was fine. Two weeks ago we took my daughter’s car in for a check engine light. She was given an estimate of $2,100 to fix everything (sensors, wheel bearing, transmission flush). It was a tough decision because the car is only worth $3,000 but she didn’t want a car payment. She got the car repaired. We picked up the car and the check engine light came on 2 blocks from Morrie’s. So we went back. Now we need a new transmission! The “deal” was for an additional $1700. If the original estimate had been $3,900 we would have never done the repairs and she would have bought a new car. Morrie’s STOLE $2,100 from my daughter. She was robbed of $2,100 and has a car with a bad transmission. I have been a loyal GM customer for over 30 years because I have always been treated fairly. Morrie’s demonstrated that making money is more important than taking care of a loyal customer. When I replace my Silverado High Country it will not be Chevrolet More
Had issue with my 2019 Chevy Impala. Rough starting after filling the fuel tank. I've learned that the Purge valve was a common issue with GM and expressed that to my service advisor after learning it was an evap code. Told is was one or both of two possibilities. I decided to replace both the fuel cap and the, I believe, called the vapor cannister for $800.00 due to 3.5 hours of labor. My car is crucial for my job as a traveling sales rep and opted to replace both to be sure its ready to go. Recieved my car earlier than expected and was delighted until after filling the tank, and yes it was still starting rough and now making unsettling noises from the fuel tank while filling. Went back to service promptly obviously I am not happy stating once again... I suspected the Purge valve. Honestly I felt like the service advisors could of cared less! One day later the chk engine light came back on and made another appointment the following Monday. I decided to look into the Purge valve and purchased one at Orielly Auto parts for under $50.00 after their staff helped me check the code was in fact an evap code. Installed the part myself in a 1/2 hour. Cleared the code and the car is good as new. Ive been buying vehicles from Clem for many years and ALL my service work and maintenance has been through Foresr Lake service as I have been loyal to Forest Lake Chevrolet. Did not see the service manager who i guarentee wouldve come out and speak with me not being there and basically got an "I don't know what to tell you" attitude. It might be time to look elsewhere. Honestly extremely unhappy!! More
