It was just what we were looking for so we sat down and got going. We were treated very well and told what was going to happen at every turn. Clem even got my wife and I set up with a Chevy app that is awesome. Before the final transaction was wrapped up Clem went and filled up the car with gas. Worst Dealer Experience Ever, Sleazy Tactics!! We visited this dealer on a Friday morning to look at a 2015 Acadia they had for sale, while the car was nice and the price for the car acceptable, we We visited this dealer on a Friday morning to look at a 2015 Acadia they had for sale, while the car was nice and the price for the car acceptable, we took our business to another dealer because of how we were treated. The used multiple sales tactics to provide the sale pressure in the transaction, including having you sign arbitrary paperwork to show your interest (this is a tactic to get you to internally agree, this was used in POW camps to turn POW's), they withheld keys to our vehicle at another desk after the evaluation, knowing you have to ask for them back. They used the good cop/ bad cop routine with bringing in multiple sales people to negotiate. All of that I could have overlooked, but they straight out lied to us about a check engine light and the status of the car we were looking at. They took a picture of the check engine light with the engine not running, when confronted that this was they case they denied this but the check engine light is on the tachometer, so you can actually see in the image the car is off. When this was pointed out, they tried to gloss over it like it was no big deal. That shows the character of the sales team, I could not imagine how they would react if I needed them to go to bat for me in a service or warranty issue. The worst dealer I have ever dealt with, I would not recommend them to anyone, no matter how good the price is. More
