Mary at the front desk was very warm and welcoming and found us a salesman. Clem gave us his full attention and walked us though many options on his top secret car list and computer screen. After several days of reading dozens of confusing vehicle descriptions I wished there was a table that listed each vehicle on the lot with the key features everyone looks for with check marks or not in place of a list of 45 items including "has carpet and a vanity mirror!" Clem agreed. We were eating their fresh popcorn when Mary offered us free drink coupons just in time, who wouldn't like that! Clem mentioned the new 2019 Colorado's with prices close to the used GMC we liked and explained their dealership's lifetime power train warranty, this last item was important. As usual I walked away to think things over. Clem was gracious in his defeat and invited us to stop by another time. The next day we called and found Clem was busy selling trucks so we just headed east again. We ended up buying one of those new 2019 Colorado with 3000 miles on it! Clem and the staff was very helpful and kind. We felt no selling pressure, just witnessed a group of people working hard to fulfill our dream of a new truck. More

FANTASTIC!!!! Arrived at our 9 am appointment with Zaida Henry to look at a truck we saw posted on Craigslist. I had never been to a dealership with so many sales p Arrived at our 9 am appointment with Zaida Henry to look at a truck we saw posted on Craigslist. I had never been to a dealership with so many sales people and Nobody "attacked" us. The ladies at the front asked if we were meeting someone and lead us to Zaida's office. The atmosphere was relaxed, music playing was great and everyone couldn't be more polite, friendly and comfortable to be around. The truck was out front waiting for us. The truck was exactly as stated in the ad and after a test drive we knew before we got back to the dealer we wanted it. Silverado 2500 in great condition with low miles and a very fair price are extremely hard to come by. No haggling on price necessary.. We stated the amount of payment we could afford and had a trade in Rav 4. They made it happen for us, cleaned the truck up a bit more as it was just listed a day ago, put gas in it and we were on our way. Terrific, down to earth folks. We used to hate dealerships. Love Forest Lake Automotive group. Miss Zaida is absolutely charming to work with and never left us "hanging". Test drive My husband and I went to forest lake chevy to test drive a new blazer. Once we were in he building my husband made a stop to the restroom and I stood My husband and I went to forest lake chevy to test drive a new blazer. Once we were in he building my husband made a stop to the restroom and I stood in the showroom. For about 5 minutes no one acknowledged me or asked if I had been helped. We went to the reception desk and asked what we needed to do to take a vehicle for a test drive, she called a sales rep to up for us and Garrett came to greet us. He had actually walked by me a few times, seemingly avoiding eye contact, while my husband was in the bathroom. He brought us out to a blazer, never explaining any features or functions of the car and said oops this one is out of gas I have to go get keys for a different one. So we stood there in the wind and cold for 10 minutes while he found keys for a different blazer. We took that for a spin (which was a great ride) and came back to drop the keys off. Garett was at the reception desk talking to what I assume was another customer and didn't even look at us to see what we needed. The receptionist saw us standing there and asked what we needed help with and we said we were returning the keys. He started to talk business with us and we said we wouldn't be buying anything today. We said thanks for your time and instead of responding to us he said goodbye to the girl he was talking to before us. We will be purchasing a new blazer, but thanks to Garrett, NOT with forest lake chevy! More
